Hit level 83 on Bloodmage in t12 maps last night. I've done like 4 full respecs so far, but currently on crit hexblast with triple curse blasphemy and dual hp/es. | ||

POE2 is now I think imo more fun than last time I posted on here speaking about how slow the game feels, and how miserable the boss fight feels. It is more fun now, but it still kind sucks, I like my zoom zoom in POE1 and Torchlight Infinite. | ||

 The campaign is fun and I like the game, but I don't see myself chilling in lategame while rerolling multiple characters in a few weeks of league start like in PoE1. But it will be fun to play it between poe1 leagues and try builds. And it Early Acess, it should improve a lot over time. | ||

Yeah atm my motivation to grind endgame isn't really there. Trying the new classes and skills + doing a HC run will be fun until they update more | ||

I've played a few chars, all kinda low level, but here are some of my impressions: - SRS + arsonists on Infernalist was somewhat similar to PoE1, minions carrying without much skill (or gear) needed. There are a few guides on this - Lightning arrow Deadeye was nice, plenty of damage and fun with WASD. Followed Fubgun's guide - Gas arrow Deadeye also strong, can preload before bosses and nuke their hp. think Ben and Ventrua have some guides for this - went for a mercenary grenade fellow that was meant to be gas - explosion Witch hunter guy. Not bad, but needed a certain play style. - melee/Titan was both fine and frustrating to level. Weapon upgrades were necessary every few levels. - ice strike monk is light and zippy, freezing everything, including bosses, made it somewhat safe, but needs some attention. also, if you play LoL and have Overwolf, they have a thing for PoE2, akin to the trade app. I use it mostly to check dps on weaps and check prices. Some things that annoy me now: - mobs mobbing like crazy in certain areas; - poison being so prevalent and annoying; - not being able to skip cutscenes/dialogue (and having to wait for the boss to tell me an epopee before fighting them again after dieing 2 sec prior) + I understand that GGG are branding PoE as the "spiritual successor" (or something like that) for Diablo, but honestly it feels like playing a clone at times. Areas and mobs being very similar to D2 do not make me appreciate it more, quite the contrary. Oh, look, viper ladies in the desert and blowguns in the jungle... | ||

The places where you get power should be a mixture of gear + passive tree, but currently it's pretty much only gear (as far as defenses/survivability go). Skill Tree is mostly power. The new way to socket skills is... better I think? But trust me, don't even dream of a 6-link. Maps being only 1 chance to complete, are absolutely brutal. I appreciate the thought behind it, that you have to play safe and slow, but at the same time - random 1-shots still happen, on-death effects are still in the game, you are EXTREMELY reliant on gear for defense. It just clashes with overall ARPG game design. Less than 50% of content in the game. We have 6 classes and 12 ascendencies in game right now. There should be 12 classes and 36 ascendencies total. We are missing axes and swords and more, and their respective skill gems and supports, making build variety very generic and small. The bad: The passive tree is pretty bad. Useless +5 attribute nodes that don't connect to anywhere meaningful, and are just there as roadblocks or transition nodes to other +5 attribute points that DO actually connect to real passives. Also, almost no life/defensive nodes on tree. Pretty much only damage on there. On-death effects still happen, like monster corpses exploding a few seconds after you kill them, so you WILL die to this utter bullshit. The 2 methods of ascending are absolute nightmarish horseshit. I'll french kiss Izaro the next time I play a PoE1 league and lick the floors of the labyrinth clean with my tongue... | ||

Now rolling with lightning monk and it's better. glass cannon kinda because drops are garbo too. Can't get through the duckin ascendency at lvl 25 because luls and mobs. The post about mobs just going crazy is def act 2 in the desert because you run a short ways and every monster on the fuckin map is behind you. DON'T STOP Still, having a good time for the moment. Will keep playing and messing with stuff until Dynasty Warriors or Monster Hunter Wilds drops. | ||
