I decided to quit for now once I realised I didn't have fun mapping and was basically in for 3/4 of my time doing something I didn't enjoy just to have some fun in the sanctum. I wish they made the sanctum storage char bound so you could map with one char and do sanctum with the other. | ||

Still trucking along in SSF picking up some challenges - finally got the Chayula sword on my ... 18th? 19th? stone so can finally respec out've Breach stuff, but haven't got the jewel or a Covenant yet; sticking with non-poison/fire SRS for the time being. Mildly depressed realising that for the "Assemble a Harbinger unique" challenge I should have been using my Harbinger Orbs on white maps as there's only ~5 total fragments from T5 Beachheads rather than the 20-odd from T15 ones :/ Still no Uber Elder kill as I keep getting the same Shaper fragment, zzzz. | ||

RIP infinite heist. Can't use book of regression to de level anymore. Probably for the best but it bums me out No more onslaught support. No more low lvl caster vendor recipe for flat dmg. =/ | ||

Not surprised infinite Heist got the boot. Reservation efficiency from masteries disappearing will require quite a bit of juggling, but I guess there's still clusters/Enlighten etc. Wondering what the new CDR nodes for the Sabo will enable. Lighthouse back on the Atlas - is this the league for me to finally try General's Cry or Rage Vortex? (I know the main reason to play GC as Berserker is War Bringer's exerted attack bonus, rather than Blitz charges + Berserk etc enabling you to his the Blade Flurry AS breakpoints, but I wonder if using Wilma's Requital for ridiculous AS would enable some sort of Raider or Champion version on a different part of the tree). | ||

Wonder how the "counts as frozen" works, and if you have to skip perma freeze immunity for it to work. Either way. looks like the thing to tank sirus meteors and maven blasts and other big stuff... | ||

I have just watched the recorded announcement stream and it sounds very much intended and will at least stay until the race events at exile con are concluded. They specifically mention the new racing meta and people being able to practice it now for the qualifiers/tournament. I wasn't really following PoE since I have stopped fairly early in Sanctum (even though it's probably my favourite league mechanic ever). The announcement looks really good though so I might play this league. Both the league mechanic and the changes to the passive tree look exciting. //edit: I didn't even catch the fact they are holding the boss kill event in Ruthless HC SFF. That's bold, damn. IMO the new masteries look juicy. +1% max elemental res from both reservation cluster and armor cluster seem fairly accessable to me. The new fire mastery that makes crit not always apply ignite and hits get 100% increased hit damage against ignited enemies would have been sick for me the last 2 leagues, but I'm not going to play Artillery Ballista a third time in a row (or am I? anyway I prefered Chieftain over Raider for it, the start was slower but in red maps it ended up way safer and more fun to play). I'm also definitely planning to get 6 Life masteries and grab the 10% more Life. :D As far as I understand it, you don't need to pick all of the mastery points, just have the wheel. Otherwise it wouldn't say "at least 6 life masteries allocated", right? Oh and instant leech is now also a thing again... Most masteries have something really cool tbh, but some are still lacking. I personally still don't like Elemental Mastery, but maybe the "Hits have 25% chance to treat Enemy Monster Elemental Resistance values as inverted" has some value for some meme build...? Also yeah the weapon / shield passive trees will be super fun to explore! | ||
