Think i will just start chaos stuff on occultist, maybe more on the evasion side with ghost shrouds... i kinda miss ed/contagion, maybe time to test out bane again also... although the last time i did that, i just went back to ed/cont after a while. Chaos gear is also really nice to just craft yourself.
Any thoughts on the new trickster node? My first impression was "well, that kinda sucks i guess", but now i wonder if it works with RF and arakali pantheon. Would be kinda neat if you just didnt take RF damage half of the time (or is it 1/3? Does "for 5 seconds every 10 seconds" mean its 50% of the time or do the 10s start after the 5s ended again? Should be the first, right? Its like that on Chieftain i think. Theres no way i league start RF though to test it out.

I'm also wondering about one thing: Reflect. It'd be great to run reflect maps. If I take 60% reduced reflect from Elemental Mastery and 50% from Yugul that should make me completely immune, right? Pretty nice.... Will probably have to do that, less rerolling of maps is a huge plus.
RF league start with Scorching Ray will be great, many streamers will do that apparently. Should be so much easier than ever.

I'm probably going LL-Bane-Occultist again for a starter, really liked it despite not playing much last league.
What makes this league particulary good for RF? Did I miss something? Oh, just found it... A straight 60% Buff O_o?

Also Inquisitor got 50% inc effect for their Consecrated Ground, +3% Fire res on the tree (might be overkill though). Aside from that Scorching Ray, which actually deals the damage against tough mobs, got buffed. +2% Life regen while moving from mastery helps too. I'd guess those are the main things

well, EE got gutted, didn't it? so that's a huge loss to RF / SR. not sure how much the damage numbers balance out
I'm thinking of trying this Berserker Spectral Helix + Oni Garoshi build.. might be hard to build but looks fun

Hmmm.... Tornado looks cool but the clear might be highly questionable, I guess it's gonna be more used vs bosses?
Concoction skills also look really cool but those might struggle on bosses? :o

Concoction skills can shotgun which should be an upside vs bosses. For poisonous concoction you have plague bearer as well.

Reduced and increased modifiers stack additively. If I have 50% reduced + 60% reduced from the above and 20% increased damage taken I end up taking 10% of the damage.
50+60 = 110% damage reduction so you're effectively immune.
50+60-20 = 90% damage reduction

Plaguebearer builds also tend to be super awesome for early map clears.

e: I just got through the endgame changes, I'm actually hyped. Just need something that can clear all the good stuff now. :>

Not sure, but from a concept standpoint it would be strange if you put a item and one characters chest crucible only to pop in an other characters.

edit: I just read he'll start with Spectral Helix, but still it's there. Otherwise, check out Nugi's recent stream, he'll play it too. Would most definitely be a more solid build if you wanna do hard content.

You allocated CI and PA. Depending on whether you want make use of the "1% dot muli per 4% chaos res" mastery you took, CI is not a good choice because it just makes you immune and doesn't set your chaos res to 100 anymore. Melding is also better without CI now. I would probably go for Low Life with that build, stack some more defensive auras and either get the +1 curse wheel (could go enfeeble on cwdt) or the ES/Mana wheel, which would make it a lvl 94/95 tree if that's feasible for you? If you are only able to start on 1st of Dec then low life should be easier to achieve on a first char than on actual league start as well.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, I have never played an ES build before. :D Also, you played something similar last league, didn't you?

Shocked ground is the easiest example. It's also 50% increased in red maps so the math becomes a lot worse.

edit: Right shit gotta be shock immune in red maps then. Or simply don't play maps with shocked ground + reflect, but mistakes would happen. =)

I like that guy. His brain comes up with really interesting und funny concepts. But be warned that he is generally okay with being a sc warrior and dying a bunch if it doesnt lose him a bossfight or so.

Could also get reduced reflect damage taken mod on a ring also (hunter or shaper for spells, even ilvl 68+ can get you up to 45% reduced). Sybils is even 80%, but only has a few mediocre attack mods and nothing else. But there are options at least
