What is Armageddon Brand like for bossing? yep occultist is the go to. in endgame you can now get Vile Bastion and Malediction, whereas before you couldn't really due to the Profane Bloom being in the way. Though I'm not sure if you preferred Profane Bloom anyways without chaos scaling I dunno what Armageddon Brand looks like in endgame, but tytykiller did an A10 run recently, so you can see how it looks in low maps. It's a bit skill spammy with cremation + flamewall, but the mapping itself is very zoom zoom. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/872856938 If you want to try something new, I think Inquisitor Fanatiscm stuff will be very good. Fanaticism is going to make Inquisitor generically good for almost any self-cast build. Shield Charge maintaining the buff means you don't really have to adjust your playstyle, and Battlemage will just be a small bonus for skills that have good added effectiveness. Then choosing between Pious Path for defensive or Inevitable Judgment for max deeps, makes the ascendancy look pretty damn good. 75% more cast speed and inc aoe is extremely appealing for a shit load of spells lol | ||

to a lesser extent for cold dot because the cold damage leech and pen mods still have the cold tag, while there's no chaos tag for the chaos damage leech mod. for early trade league/ssf this is a big watchstone mod btw. Influenced Monsters in Areas have (7–8)% chance to drop an additional Rare Jewellery Item on chromium watchstones | ||

Hmmm... that vs Toxic Rain is hard. I do think TR is just straight up better in the long run though if I'm honest. Is there some kinda PoB you're looking at Echelon? I've just read about using Asenath's Chant / Maloney's Mechanism to trigger stuff which seems more gimmicky than useful. For levelling I can see using TR on a Ballista while just using CA yourself. ...also holy cow, there's so many garbage youtube guides these days. | ||

This is the PoB I've seen in two guides now: https://pastebin.com/4Echd6H9 TR sits at 8mil with the default checkboxes, OP gems etc, let's ignore that for now. (~2mil is more realistic with Quill, reasonable gems, more than 130% life, etc) ED in Asenath's gives us 140k, Soulrend 210k for a combined 350k. ~4% of our total damage CA in Maloney's gives us 180k. ~ 2% of our total dmg In perspective: Level 20 -> 21 TR is ~9.5% of our damage, each Empower level is in a similar category. Going from Void Manip to Awakened Void Manip is also around 350k. A helmet with -9% chaos res to enemies nearby also gives around 350k. At best Asenath's seems like a minor upgrade that should come very, very late if this thing is more than an ex or so. Maloney's is even less of a damage upgrade, but it does add some QoL - but it's also a slot where we can get Chaos DoT Multiplier. Helmet gives us 5% MS, 15% AS The Quiver at least gives AS/some life, the blind and a really easy frenzy way against bosses. ...apart from that I've done a couple quick runs to A2 - it's not a Witch but still pretty smooth. The TR Ballistas are awesome especially, I vaguely remember being annoyed at pure TR levelling because, well, mana, standing still etc. | ||

maybe asenath's isn't worth it, I dunno. it's pretty cheap though, I think at low gear levels it's a great choice. when you have decent gears / toxic rain I'd drop it for +1 arrow or smthn | ||

- Heist - probably what most people will go for first since the crafting options can be quite strong; - Sulphite/Niko - delving is pretty nice for xp/currency (and in my opinion a pleasant break from mapping); - Torment - could turn out to be a sleeper node; - Breach - could be good (though people seem to be kinda underwhelmed with breaches). Spending 4 points to get Within their grasp (breach lords have chance to drop breachstones) might not be that great. Having a chance to drop Charged or Enriched means less likely to drop Pure (which is what most people want). Furthermore, It That Fled guarantees upgrading your breachstones to Pure on lvl 3, and gives you 2 tries if leader. Heist will most likely continue to be a great source of breachstones, so having the option to make them Pure may be the way to go. Note: Just my thoughts. | ||

Might go trade for the first time just to play another build than I normally do (Perfect Ice Nova looks great, would need to buy the Pledge as I do not have enough patience to farm div-cards.) But Frost-Bomb-Ignite, Discharge and good old solid rf could be great to. Question about trade etiquette: If I want an item that is 1,7 ex and I'm too lazy to search for the chaos-ex price and downtrading etc etc is it generally accepted if I offered 2ex instead or do people want the chaos in their bag without having to downtrade their ex? (Think I never slammed an ex on anything as an ssf player, it's basically worth 0 to me :D) | ||
