:^) In all honesty, starting trade probably makes more sense if you enjoy both, because the early start is beneficial for your economy. Doesn't matter when you start SSF SC as much sidenote I'm kind of tempted to play spectral shield throw Bleed, some of the new jewel stuff is cool, but guides say you need heavy investment to have decent single target | ||

only thing I can find is "Damage taken gained as Mana over 4 seconds when Hit" --- Also, anyone have thoughts on Hierophant vs. Inquisitor for Archmage Storm Brand? I was going to go Hierophant at first glance, but I don't think Sanctuary of Thought (-50% mana cost) is great. The most attractive thing is the brand node (roughly 20% more damage if double brand latch, and the sweet CDR for brand recall), but inquisitor should be way more damage right? | ||

There's also mana on kill obv, you might have included that in mana regen, but that usually feels weak unless its %-based with an ascendancy like Trickster. | ||

I have tried both in PoB and so far like Hierophant more, you have more mana, more mana regen, more MoM effect, built in life leech, a lot of energy shield (can use 1 ES leech node on tree for some extra leech) and most of all a shit ton of AoE. Two (nerfed) Fevered Mind's will rise the mana cost back up (and even futher if more, but I think that would be overkill). I have no clue if Fevered Mind will be expensive, if so, then I'll get that note from Uber Lab. Inquisitor will be the better starter/ssf char though I guess, because free penetration is really nice and the damage potential is probably higher. Honestly, I might regret not going Inquisitor though because elemental res mod + new higher boss res potentially extra EE are brutal. Maybe I should just run blue maps this league like HC players tend to, it's probably more chill that way too. To your first question: As far as (bat shit expensive) late game options go, there is Wrath Watcher's Eye that gives mana leech for Lightning Damage (would put Wrath in Essence Worm in that case) as well as Clarity stuff like a lot more mana regen. In Metamorph league those might have been affordable. In Delirium though? Gonna take a while for me, if I play the char that long... | ||

Summoners generally use Zombie/Spectre(/Animate Guardian) even if they are maining Skeletons or SRS tbh... then just either as 4L or less (for example Bloodmagic + Spectre and getting the apes that give charges). If you require a guide that tells you all the basic and starter items, then I'd look at the official forums. Otherwise, check https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?skill=Summon-Raging-Spirit While summoners got nerfed, they will still be very fine. | ||

Most important thing: Unleash. Increases QoL by over 9000%. Late game scaling was a bit wonky. SRS do 50% Phys/50% Fire. A lot of ppl put on Grip of the Council and Hatred. So your damage is 3 ways split. which was pretty bleh against some tough metamorphs. Instead I would try to convert all damage to one type via Triad Grip, which lets you debuff enemy resistances hardcore with Elemental Equilibrium + curse on hit. if you go all in on fire you can use minion instability on top of that. but you want to get a tavukai then. not sure how easy that is to get. you are obv way squishier than a str stacking zombie necro though. | ||

I still got ~6h to choose I reckon. I dunno what the difference between a ED/Contagion Trickster vs an Occultist is, but I did Trickster like 3x already. | ||

a) stormbind spelltotem hieropants into divine ire spelltotem hierpants b) bane (+ed for single target) ocularist c) something something every league is minion league neckromancer maybe ill go with a fairly generic necromancer and try out the new spectres and or anime weapons. if i dont like them i can probably still just use skellies + zombies + spooksters. or just go MI and make popcorn skellies. think steelmage and ghazzy put up a anime weapon pob. maybe ill check that out later. | ||
