my internet bad I think I'm going to YOLO and league start Kinetic Bolt + spell slinger. Thinking Elementalist with golems, heralds, hybrid build leeching life and ES. Inquisitor should be pretty good too but then mana reservation is slightly bigger issue. Also, going crit feels a bit annoying, because most nodes are either spell crit or attack crit, but not both. Not sure what spell to use... I'm thinking Ball Lightning or Wave of Conviction Is casual Blade Blast in any spell build good for the free Unverve? | ||

I'd be surprised if Spellslinger really just gives spells linked to it 15% mana reservation or if it's already nerfed at the 20/20 reveal. Because unless I'm wrong you could (in theory; although gloves/helmets with extra links exist) have like two 6L spells with Spellslinger that way (but no auras then ofc; also it depends on the gems and might requires a couple aura nodes). | ||

Depending on supports, a 6L spellslinger setup consisting of skill, spellslinger, and 4 reasonable damage supports looks like it will run you between 40-65% mana. Considering this puts you on a virtual 5L with a cool down of 500ms, and takes your only 6L (excluding "supported by" gloves/hats), I don't think it's so insane for DPS abilities. It's more along the lines of convenient and reliable triggering of various combo or utility skills. Somewhat similar to "trigger a socketed skill" veiled/crafted mods. | ||

Lightning warp is probably optimal for clear speed but I'd wait until I have enough damage to keep up In any case there's a lot of flexibility so it should be fun. Worst case scenario I have an ele wander which is a perfectly fine build | ||

Archmage seems fairly busted? Archmage also allows one to fully upgrade the stormbind runes in one tick starting at 1600 unreserved mana. And adds a fuckton of lgt damage. With two call of the brotherhood everything not dead is probably very frozen. Might actually try to make Stormbind happen. Not sure which ASC though. Edit: oh. Apparently you can have a spell totem cast the runes with stormbind and then detonate/upgrade them with runeblast. Wait I'm confused now. Also apparently archmage doesn't work with runeblast... So that doesn't work. Ffs GGG is really bad at explaining mechanics | ||

Also do I understand correctly that if the base mana is higher due to say Indigon, Archmage will add (even more) damage as long as you are able to cast at all? | ||

increased Mana Cost of Skills for each 200 total Mana you have Spent Recently it effect the mana cost it self. I have a feeling that this is to prevent free cast effect like vaal clarity. But wording is so clunky that i can't say for sure. | ||
