Playing BV assa, tried to do abberath during delirium and had a smugglers tormented spirit in that room. It touched the boss and i wasnt able to kill him at all. Too much downtime during fireballs etc made him recharge his ridiculous ES pool all the time. Had to bail and reset the area. | ||

At least they are buffing totem life again, playing totems was irritating 2 leagues ago when I tried it last due to them often dying before they can do much damage. If the buff stays and it is useful, I might try totems again down the line if they change the direction of the game or when PoE 4.0 comes. | ||

Apparently it's not an HP increase but a damage reduction, which might fuck with stuff like leech lol. As usual there are plenty of little things about the league that they can/will probably adjust and fix in the near future. Delirium mechanic itself isn't exciting me too much yet, but still just focused on new build things. I'm trying the Spellslinger Volatile Dead stuff, it's very solid, I just can't decide if the delay on the damage bothers me or not yet. It probably won't feel as noticeable in denser maps. | ||

Build something with max block+apply to spells (aka make a Gladiator). Things are much more tenable then. I saw a lot of people irritated last season on metamorphs. I had virtually no issues with them whatsoever. I think I had to walk away from 2 in tier 16s that were just about as nasty as the game can manage. Even with a killspeed build, I have very little issues with metamorphs at all. Drox was the most annoying thing in the last league to me. | ||

It was like this long time ago but devs changed it but slowly it has been going back to that league by league. I have been making defensive characters for a while now but even those became weaker and weaker every league and it is no longer fun. I want to make my characters and have fun, not worry if I am going to die all the time. | ||
