additionally in that post, Synthesis is confirmed not going core, for the best I feel. I never got any ludicrous gear and didn't really feel the desire to farm for it, but stuff like +2 min endurance charge, light explosion weapons were neat and not too hard to make.

Player kills everything fast so for enemies to be any challenge to players they also need to do lots of damage in those rare cases when they get to attack. I doubt there will be any real change in 3.7 , especially since they said their don't want to change speed clear meta. | ||

Melee is not as bad as it seems in my opinion, people generally overfixate on nerfs and call stuff dead, even tho it can be viable. It is going to be intresting to see if GGG will see melee fix as an simple damage buff, or actual mechanical correction, or even maybe just new support (which I think wont be plausible cause ancestral call and multistrike pretty much are there allready). Seeing reddit/community little bit turned against GGG in forums/reddit, they gotta make next league overtuned I think, so will melee fix be overtuned... will be intresting to see. | ||

As far as I can tell all the really really big keystones seem to be on the caster/ranged side of the circle (CI, MoM, EB, Ghost Reaver, Phase Acrobatics, Pain Attunement, Zealot's Oath) and the ones on the melee side are more of things that make up for the drawbacks of melee by trading off another cost (Resolute Technique, Unwavering Stance). I'm not really sure on the melee side what sort of keystone can boost your damage as much as Pain Attunement or you your eHP as much as CI or MoM. It makes melee seem really limited to only really top end builds. | ||

They stated they want to change way speedclear works with melee, but unless they make every melee another frostblades that clears whole screen, then I can't figure out what they could do. | ||

It will be underwhelming because they have to fix 2 problems at once and they won't. One is the power level of spells right now (it's way too high for it's investment and ease of building) and the other is the power level of red maps and higher level content (it's too low). | ||

This league I tried a bow starter and didn't get to enjoy the league due to hideous map drops so I passed on this league completely , it will be fun to have melee boosted , mainly for the low budget builds , as currently I feel its impossible to play melee without good gear (while arc traps you can do with nothing but gems basically). I think melee cannot and should not compare to glass cannon ranged in clear speed , but melee should feel STRONG and TANKY , not to be squashed like a bug whenever you get hit. | ||
