They've only posted Chieftan and Berserker so far. The rest are being reworked but the details aren't out there. With release 2 weeks out, and patch notes generally 2-3 days in advance of release, they have more than 10 days to spoil the other 15 classes. Expect them to milk the changes for as much hype as they can generate, rather than release it all at once.

I skipped abyss league (burnt out, and it looked like breach in lines instead of circles) but looks like the next should be good if they're reworking ascendancies, adding content and of course the new challenge league.

Abyss league was pretty bad, but the expansion was actually good. Map changes (not only reworks but also having the option to shape or not, the way "memory fragments" are obtained, pushing influence) make grinding more interesting. Shaper/Elder items are pretty op. Hopefully the ascendancy changes are good.

Basically what nukem said. The expansion was good but breach itself was meh. Elder items are quite strong. I know people are using conversion weapons as stay sticks for some really strong things, I made a pretty op es wander with a lightning damage per int shaper wand

While Abyssal Depths were a non factor, I liked Abyss better than most leagues. It added tons of monsters to my maps, at least. And these dropped maps fairly frequently. Some leagues that I liked less would be Prophecy, Warbands, Talisman and Rampage.

I got a feeling I'll like Bestiary less. But I'm still very excited for the Ascendancy changes and new fated Prophecy items. And hopefully some balance changes too.

Hoping for, but not expecting, a sextant rework. I think I'm just not using sextants at all this league, either way.

That Chieftain reveal has me pretty hyped, thinking about starting the league with Sire of Shards Flame Totem silliness. Got a bunch of other things I'm hyped about too, though, and I'm sure I'll think of more as the other Ascendancies get shown.

The problem with sextants is you can't really just opt out like that and still run maps and have fun unless you like being poor. If you want to not sextant you basically have to do lab.

Farming guardians was more profitable then shaped vaults for me, by far.

Sextant drama is pretty heavily overblown, like everything reddit gets it's hands on.

So by reading Berserker more closely its penalty might not affect CI characters since 20% life degen of 1 is less than 1.

So any ideas on a good CI weapon build from a Marauder start? HoWa comes to mind immediately but not sure if you can get over 1000 int easily.
Brutus Lead Sprinkler as well if we use Geofry chest and Shaper gloves and max strength but that would be super expensive.

I tested with over 600 maps and not in single set or in general sextants made me money. Running without sextant was always more c/hr.
Different amounts and different maps. Burial chambers can break even if you run couple thousand at least I think. Vault probably barely break even if you have support.

Sextant prices rose a lot once it became the "meta" thing to do. Probably profitable if you were doing shaped Vaults earlier than that but if you were paying full price for sextants after the market value adjusted, you probably weren't making much from them.

Channel is extremely profitable with sextants, according to the data I got.

sextants required a fair bit of setup/ investment to get going, with locking all the bad mods and getting your map unlocked in just the right way. it was profitable, but boring as hell.

I like sextant to be valuable, cause then I can sell them for more.

Can't sextant Poorjoy's Asylum so I completely abandoned them in Abyss. Steadily income by selling them once in awhile though.

I do think sextants will get changes - pretty sure I noticed one of the senior staff post that he didn't really like it at all. Plus the new upgrade-any-map-to-t16 orb probably comes with adjustments. Otherwise some white map surrounded by other maps with an easy boss will probably be the next thing.

New hierophant is crazy. No more totem damage penalty finally! The spell leech that everyone wants? Easy power and endurance charge generation (rip scion hierophant)? 100% playing hierophant league starter unless something even more crazy comes out.

Not really happy about how berserker is only good for attackers now. I like it when an ascendancy opens a variety of builds and supports different things rather than a more narrow focus.

Bestiary crafting - I wonder how much of a pain in the ass it'll be. Capture mobs, THEN use up to 4 of them to craft...but you have to fight them again. All the crafting that's like essences (roll a rare with one guaranteed affix) is going to be a bust I bet, but anything more like mastercrafting (adding a specific mod to a rare) will be much better received. Actually, if we do get some choices like mastercrafting, that'll be super good. 90% of the options will be a dud I bet, though.
