Hmmm wonder where your bestiary is going to reside, probably set up similarly to your hideout?

Also it looks like an obnoxious chore to actually use the system tbh.

Ascendancy changes look super interesting, but we've only seen two so who knows.

bestiary crafting is going to be wayyyyy too powerful not to abuse though, unfortunately. Splitting an item is like 2-3x annuls, very powerful. Imprinting blue items is also insane for crafting shaped/elder bases for specific shaped/elder mods. etc.

i just meant the whole league stuff looked annoying to participate in, but it's really not going to be optional. I wasn't directly complaining about power level in terms of "x is too good to exist".

Although some of these new ascendancy passives...

I think I'll have more fun in this league when it goes to second or third month than earlier. It doesn't seem good EV to go for league mechanics if u want to ladder/xp/gp but seems fun for just chilling and making a fucking nice character. Seems also a very very good if u wanna get multiple 100s.

The elder orb seens insanely good though, although assuming you need to beat uber elder for it... it seems seriously gated in that case.

Anybody else kinda hate the berserker changes? "here have 20% life degen per second i bet that's good". It's totally impossible to mitigate (maybe leo's reduced dot shield craft) and even though berserker is supposed to be a leech class you can't actually leech fast enough for it to matter. Plus you have to sink a billion ascendancy points into it to even have it function and if you take aspect of carnage you are going to die even faster. It's just a garbage version of raider with huge downside. Maybe if leech wasn't utter dogshit in general.

I think I read that the uber Elder fight replaces the boss for the map you use the T16 orb on, so you're most likely getting that from killing red tier Elder.

Fight looks fun to me, though what's most likely gonna happen is that someone will find a new basically invincible build and facetank everything.

Still, that soundtrack was good, lots of new crafting to experiment with, should be a fun few weeks.

Honestly I'm pretty excited for this league. We don't know enough about the bestiary mechanic to say it will be tedious or unfun but what they showed looked pretty cool. And The uber elder means I'll actually have a reason to either make an overall OP build, or make a character specifically for boss killing as an alt.

The game is not that demanding, I play on a really crappy set-up and can do most things. Just post your specs and people will tell you how well it will fare.

Current gen i5 ULV processor (which should be fine) and an MX150, which might not be.

I suppose I could just test it, but I only have 50 gigs a month.

My laptop, on which I do play sometimes, is worse than yours (i5-2450m, gt630m, 6gb ram), but can still kinda handle it. Remember that cooling is important, having one of those laptop coolers does help.
Small tips: some skills are laggier than others. You can reduce textures from config.
I saw a thread on the PoE reddit that people were playing using phones at hotspots so you probably don't need too much bandwidth.

You should be able to play the game on low settings. Just avoid playing with others and using flashy laggy skills (like firestorm, Storm Call and such)

So guys, that new Chieftain looks juicy.
Full fire conversion Blade Vortex Chieftain with 6 endurance charges sound nice to me. Lots of regen and life leech and massive damage from Ash and that 100% bonus for 3s every 10s will help vs bosses.
Maybe even RF on top of it to help vs trash and boost BV damage vs bosses.

I looked at the changes but I could only see cheiftain's changes? Is that intentional or am I retarded and can't find the other ascendancies? Will they be shown as time draws closer to release or something?
I'd like to see just how much they sodomized slayer, necromancer, pathfinder and inquisitor.

The hunt and menagerie looks...cool as a concept but tedious to fill in-game TBH.

Nah, they will slowly release more Ascendancy infos. Even the Chieftain stuff is probably still not final. Expect more stuff to come, so far they mainly announced the league and less so the balance changes.
