Mathil regularly takes builds to guardians and shaper that are vastly lacking in serious defensive mechanisms, because he just avoids most of the shit. I'm not suggesting he doesn't die, but he actually dies quite infrequently on most builds (not abyssus facebreakers lol)

The cost of getting there is pretty ridiculous, had to sell most of my other builds to fund this char. Overall, the most expensive end game items are the +2 barrage enchant on a helm (last time I checked, getting one on the Tempest's Binding costs almost as much as a HH), and a GG eDPS Wand. Need to pray for a mirror to drop I guess... | ||

He has good skill, great knowledge .. overall cool guy. | ||

Innocence will still 1-shot you at max resistances unless you've taken RF amounts of lifenodes before then, when its not at all needed. | ||

I watched a fair bit of those HC death videos to know you cannot avoid all oneshots, mostly those detonate dead ones. From totems just outside edge of screen to beyond DD mobs spawning after you kill the boss and using DD before you can even notice it.. some are not avoidable except by pure luck. | ||

I've noticed a problem though, that I'm not reliably getting frenzy charges even with diamond flask up. Sometimes it even feels like I'm generating fewer frenzy charges with diamond flask up. My guess is that it's because I mostly use it when facing rares/bosses, so the hit reduction is the actual culprit? Blood rage fixed the problem for non-bosses. For bosses I've so far used frenzy with fortify to go to five charges, and then the boss is almost dead anyway. | ||
