Is there a good blade vortex tree someone can link me plz, and is trickster decent for it (gonna be hardcore so want that delicious ev/es)! I will be there on launch and for a while after, i think the 2nd week or so of the league ill be on vacation for a week but that wont mess with our typical day 1 shenanis. necromancer IMO start off life based non-crit w/ elemental overload -> switch to crit as you gear up / get higher level -> switch to CI/ES mass aura stacking when you can get a shavs BV is a cool build cause it's pretty strong early and has a high ceiling so you always have something to work up to

That's pretty much exactly what top players do currently after their first death. Or oftentimes before it, if they're good/lucky/"lucky" enough. Well, they usually play even fewer maps than that. I don't know how they do it, personally.

Definitely. What annoyed me wasn't so much the potential for using the system really well but the fact that it was a permanent choice once made. This way I can run (and complete) new maps without feeling like it would have been better if I'd never have done it in the first place.

And, do you play the game like a top streamer? is your enjoyment based solely in rushing your level as fast as possible in the easiest way possible? Do you play fun builds or do you cookie cutter the strongest build in every league and copy the top exp earners tree to the last node. Can you enjoy the game while knowing someone is doing something more efficient? The game is already WAY too easy, to the point where people make insane handicaps to try and challenge themselves, hell there's a SSF melee only rush to CI challenge going on right now, with no ascendancy's allowed. I have a job, I know i can't compete with a top streamer, that doesn't mean i'm gonna stop running orchard maps, and stop making my own trees, switching only to jugg EQ with voidheart, the most efficient way isn't always the most fun way. Cherry picking maps may very well allow some people to get way ahead, but those people were always way ahead by nature of playtime alone, havoc getting 100 2 hours earlier is going to change nothing in the way I play the game, and making 93 instead of 92 by running only gorges isn't going to make me enjoy the game more than I do now. I do agree that the system is stupid, but I don't think it's really going to matter to me at all anyways, so whatever.

The vast majority of the other maps are not actually any harder than these, they just have more backtracking. Variety is good and hopefully their rebalance is successful, but personally i find wandering through empty maps looking for mobs a larger negative than playing the same tilesets over and over.

Buy the t16's that don't normally drop for me and unlock them that way so I can still get the 4 pieces to the shaper? Hmm. Still seems to be rewarding people who play with more than one account by allowing multiple atlas configurations. Having two accounts is already ideal for speed leveling any character but the first of a league because you can give yourself waypoints and fast bosskills without having to bother friends/guildmates. If the xp penalty is still garbage for higher tier maps, running plentiful lower maps with good monster density still seems like it'll be optimal. And all the stuff about hoping that maps across a tier are more balanced - will map balance be adjusted mid-league? That could screw over people with very specialized atlases.

(Or maybe even Slayer with Abyssus but I'm not a good player so that might not be the best idea)

hell this system will even make me want to run super bad low tier maps that I never want to run just for the extra map drop % Not sure what is gonna be optimal though.

I love the music in it so I actually play that one. I dont have many maps I actually dislike/hate, but a good contender would be Desert. That map has crap tier and even then the boss can be annoying if it has the right map mods.

I doubt I will be playing all difficulties so something that can get me to last difficulty with good clearing speed. I don't plan to rush content, I just want to be able to kill mobs fast and enjoy it. It can either be a weapon or spell build (and I will do 0 trading as I hate that). https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLukM8wjNdMM1tPaZx_p2LOUOlmMfPLJqc ED / Contagion, one of the better self found builds. No gear required, very safe but decent clear, can scale very well if you get lucky / decide to trade for some uniqes personally the Atlas looks like a great change for me, I always get really demotivated to run maps around T10, since my char is already lvl 85-90 and you don't really get much profit from running high tiers. So instead I would just speed run good layout maps or uber lab. This change means I actually feel like I'll try to make it to T16 for that sweet %map drop bonus, as well as guardian boss specific uniques, good stuff
