Last time I played a trapper it was all about crit fire trap/conc effect/ele prolif, but since then I believe ele prolif has been changed substantially and this isnt the build anymore.

So what do people do for trappers these days? I saw there was a new ice trap gem looks cool but how do you build around it/does it do enough damage without any dot effects to kill stuff efficiently? I also read poison traps were a thing good/bad/expensive?

1. I don't think Fire Trap prolif is dead. It's way weaker than before but back then it one-shoted rares without any expensive gear. I think it's still kind of viable.

I played CA last league as my first build and for that I think it was great (grabbed IR -- super easy leveling with grace) but late game (say starting with 74 maps maybe) I felt that my damage fell off. Even more so in parties. This was with a 5link +3 bow and seven frenzy charges.

Please take a look here and if you do not have a single achievement in Talisman and plan to be active during Ascendancy post in here (or PM me, I prefer posts tho) with your accountname. Yes you can also post for your buddies but it's always nice to have TL accounts associated with names from time to time.

Exceptions to this are officers, semioldguy, Tongar, BisuProbe, Tennet, Capped, Otolia, BLinDRawR and Aixler. At least those are the names of people I either know directly or associate with TL vets but I'm pretty sure I'm missing some. =P

I'll do the purging in a day or two so those who are checking forums frequently shouldn't miss it, the rest can get grabbed again asap as usual. Cheers. <3

5L +3 is a really weird thing since a white 6L is cheap enough and you can craft +3 for 2-3ex and some spare change. Just mentioning that since I've seen people still getting ripped off with 10+ ex +3 bows that apparently sold all the time. Parties are complete balls tho I fully agree.
