I get A for benchmark and it all happens so fast but when in game it just lags.. I'm having the same problem here. I have a very very good connexion (optic fiber) and never experience lag. I had 160 fps on the benchmark, but somehow every time I play an online game, the framerate goes low and make the game slower. I play on 800x600 with minimal settings. I play on a laptop and I think the problem is here. are you also playing on a laptop ?

Or there are not enough people as bad as me around. Getting better though. I could probably do much better if I just gave in and played my usual Ken or learned some of the more powerful characters. ![]()

If you choose Quick Match then I think it just puts you against the first random person it finds. If you choose Custom Match then you can specify the skill level of your opponent: All, More Skilled, or Same Skill. "Skill" is determined by PP which is roughly an Elo equivalent. If you host your own games, then you have no control over the skill level of players that join (maybe they searched for Same Skill [which I think a lot of players do] or More Skilled, or maybe they just searched All).

While I was asleep, some friends of mine played some humorous games online which I was planning on recording on my PC when I got home. After some searching online and on my PC/laptop, I have no idea where the replays are saved or what they're called. Anyone know anything about this? Go to Player Data -> Replay Channel (or Games for Windows Live -> Replay Channel) -> Battle Log and you'll find your 25 most recent online matches. You can save the replays (if you don't they get overwritten) and watch them whenever you want.

Tried this, but the replay channel is empty when I try on my PC, while they still work while I try from my laptop.

I started playing last weekend and there really no problem finding people, takes like 30seconds at max. to find an opponent.

I'd say his in the same boat I am, starting out facing randoms they truly do seem to be at random skill levels, went 3-15 last night, most of my losses were to 20PP players yet my three wins were over a 1800PP Chun and 1300PP Zangief. And on that note it felt really unfair fighting Zangief as Juri, if he approached I just fireballed him and if he Lariated I just dive kicked him he never got close, is he just bad or does Zangief really have that many issues with Juri?

Well one of the drawbacks is that you don't know whether that 20PP player is really 20PP or if he's on his way to 3000PP eventually. You also don't know if that 1800PP Chun or 1300PP Zangief actually belong at that level (they probably do) or if they don't know the character matchup or if they fail to adapt to your playstyle. As for Gief vs Juri, a Juri who zones effectively is incredibly difficult for him to get in on. I played in an online tournament a few weeks ago and my Gief got owned by a Juri who did exactly that.

I have very limited fighting experience (Played some Mortal Kombat 9 on 360, with Sub-Zero, never played too much online because it was always so laggy :p), so how hard is this game to get into? Is there anywhere I can learn everything, and pick up all the abbreviations and tactics and stuff? I know it's a lot of questions, so if you don't feel like answering them all, I'll understand. Thanks!!!
