DisplayLag took a closer look and the numbers are interesting: http://www.displaylag.com/reduce-input-lag-in-pc-games-the-definitive-guide/The absolute best settings:* Ingame VSync: OFF * Framerate: FIXED * Antialiasing: NONE The in-game VSync feature adds up to 3 frames worth of input lag all by itself, meaning it nearly doubles (going from 3.5 to 6.2). This is the biggest culprit and the one you should turn off immediately. Framerate should be set to fixed, as setting it to smooth can introduce actual glitches. No, I don't mean graphical glitches, I mean "characters may fall out of ultras randomly". If you have a graphics card and monitor capable of G-SYNC or FreeSync, you can enable that instead of VSync. It's just a better version that doesn't affect input lag in the same way VSync does. In Nvidia's case you get almost no difference, and if you have an AMD card and a monitor capable of FreeSync, it's actually beneficial to turn it on (3.5 with FreeSync vs 3.7 with VSync off). If you don't have G-SYNC or FreeSync but hate screen tearing with a passion and you want VSync enabled, the guide will tell you how to minimize the increased input lag. It depends on your graphics card and setup, whether you run it in windowed mode, etc. Holy shit THANK you so much for this. I've had VSync on...

Combo Breaker schedule in image form: http://imgur.com/a/a1zRx
I have countdown timers for all USF4 content in the OP, but I know some people prefer these. =)

Stunfest is so fucking stacked that we could very well see someone outside of semi-finals qualify for CapCup. Fuck, I'd almost say it's even likely that the one that qualifies won't be playing the final. There's so much money on the line now that even those who have qualified still fly out to all the premiere events.

Ophe, I saw you on Endless for a second but I couldn't join you. We should play some time. <3

Combo Breaker 2015 is a tournament. It's big and awesome and fuck it I'll fill this out later, I have two tournaments to cover this week and someone linked DBZ abridged at me.
LIES AND SLANDER. I never linked it, I am not so cruel. I merely said that I was watching it and you, out of your own volition, decided to watch it too.
|
It's as good as linking it and you knew it when you said it.
I lost like six hours to that shit.

They hold normal tournaments in France after all and this one just happened to have only two entries.
someone said that it will go down at EVO instead now, since it is legal to gamble in vegas etc. and just saying entry fee is not gonna change anything. that's what makes it illegal i believe.

So if anyone is wondering where the hell Stunfest's USF4 content is, the answer is that Stunfest is a joke of an event if you aren't there in person. In the flesh it's apparently great, but the streams have been absolute clownshoes.
Minor recap:
It seems as though nobody is sitting at the streaming station most of the time. SNK vs Capcom and Super Turbo both have only sporadically had commentary. The live scene is usually stuck on this big splash screen, where most of the screen real estate is taken up by two giant "Stunfest" logos and a large webcam layer. The actual game feed? You get to watch that in teeny-weeny-eye-strain-o-vision.
Soul Calibur 5 actually managed to discover a scene layer that put it in fullscreen. And then they put a big "Stunfest" watermark in the middle of the screen. Apparently they decided that the Stunfest watermark in the lower left didn't fill their shittyness quota.
And now USF4 teams won't be streamed until semifinals, if at all. Because when you have the most stacked USF4 tournament of the year - a tournament that Capcom has given a lot of money to - then what you really want to do is not show it to anybody.
Edit: There is also some confusion about where USF4 will be streamed. Big sites like Shoryuken and Eventhubs both claim it will be streamed from www.twitch.tv/capcomfighters, but it it possible that one is just parroting the other's mistake.
Most stream monsters seem to think that USF4 will be on tv.stunfest.fr like all the other content, and that's the word from /r/StreetFighter and /r/Kappa from what I've seen. This is what I was led to believe as well, reading all of the game information leading up to Stunfest from official sources. I don't know where Eventhubs and Shoryuken got their information, but I added their claims to the OP on the off chance that two major FGC sites are better at consolidating legitimate USF4 information than some random guy on a StarCraft forum.
