I don't think it's his character loyalty that prevents him from playing the game, it's just that he's just not happy at the overall state of the game at the moment.
I mean, regardless of who you pick it's still vortex fighter 4: guess right edition if you play against a vortex character or someone that lives on 50-50 like Seth.
he has said before that he really likes playing and watching high level AE, despite people thinking he is just a Marvel loyalist. the problem is that there just isn't a lot of high level AE for him to experience in norcal.

The character loyalty is separate (I've only seen him play Seth sometimes).

Well he's 100% a keepaway / zoning player. Dhalsim's his perfect character. It's not his fault the game's not balanced properly ... If there was someone like Dormammu in SF4 he'd be actually winning tournaments. Also I still think he's a genius with Dhalsim

I swear Marvel has less bullshit than this shit.
Exactly what bullshit are you talking about? Only thing I saw was one guy put a team on his back.
You sure? I saw one character do half a boxer's health in dmg in one combo no ultra or super.
With 4 meters off a jumpin, right?
Which character can't deal 500 damage off a jumpin with a super? Name 'em. Even Dhalsim can.
Ibuki has a 700 dmg combo vs Akuma in the corner, now that you can argue might be pretty strong.
Most other games have Touch-Of-Deaths. SF4 kind of has them too, but you need to guess right a few times to get it, while other games just have straight Touch-Of-Deaths. Complaining about Vortex is ridiculous if you compare it to like UMVC3 Zero and how people still can deal with him.
More retarded than unblockable setups? More retarded than Zero's ridiculous meter-building and ability to kill you with one touch? Worse than redonkulous Spiral Sword loops?
