No, my computer and system recognizes my fightstick, it's just not an "arcade stick" in the button configs so I can't set focus attacks to be multiple buttons or three buttons, etc.

I want to make sure you're not just being really oblivious here, but you don't have to set your Controller Type to "Arcade Stick" in the Button Config menu. Controller/Arcade Stick is just another series of preset configurations and doesn't actually detect peripherals. FYI, on a MadCatz TE, Controller A is actually the correct preset. All you have to do is push the corresponding button on the stick when you're defining a new bind for each command, you can ignore the Controller Type setting altogether. You wouldn't be the first person to get tripped up by this, but you shouldn't need to download any third-party drivers or apps either for a 360 stick.

Also, you shouldn't need to define special binds for throw/focus/taunt/3P/3K. The PC version has this stupid thing where every command must be bound, but you just set those to some far-away keys that you will never touch. The game will still recognize the inputs as follows:

Throw: LP+LK
Focus: MP+MK
Taunt: HP+HK
3P: LP+MP+HP
3K: LK+MK+HK

You don't need special binds for them.

It fixed itself, but I was configuring controller type 4 and maybe that's why it kept fucking up.
It works perfectly n ow :D

Have you tried Joy2Key? It lets you map your joystick to keys. My brother uses it because his emulators didn't recognize his controller.

Haha, I know the feeling, I've been playing Rose ever since I got the game (Last summer) and got pretty good with her (5k BP). I recently switched to Yun (2 weeks ago) and I'm getting destroyed left and right. I still play Rose when I'm tired of losing, so I keep getting my PP higher, which I guess is causing me to get higher ranked opponents (Lower ranked people tend to use same skill, I assume). Whenever I play Yun, I end up playing vs 5k BP or higher opponents and I still don't know how to get in on people reliably with him.

Haha Im so frustrated, I dont make any damage with yang and I cant seem to really get close and pressure people at all. :D footsies are a nightmare for me, it seems like as soon as i get close enough for my cr.mk I already get attacked before and if I jump I get antiaired. >_> Im hovering around 4800 BP with measly 700 PP lol

You do have other footsies though. I know Yang's s.hk is really good (especially against Zangief ughhhh). His s.lk is also really amazing (buffer into mantis slashes), and you can't ignore the command dash to close distance either.

True the sHK and the sHP for that matter are really good imo and the crlk is really fast. I just need to get the timing down to consistently link the crlks as well.
I think the problem is that I dont know the characters well enough as well and walk right into their range too easily.
But please dont mention Zangief, that sHK is like the only weapon there haha >_>

don't forget walking backwards is a powerful footsies tool. backing up and using a longer ranged attack to punish a whiff is a great way to convince people to stop attacking when you get in range. you just have to make sure not to get punished or baited into it.

EG was already super strong, but now with rog they are even scarier. They easily stand as the best western team at the moment, or at I least I feel they do.

Playing against people with just 2 bars isnt even worth it. But its much better in SF4 than in X Tekken, i have a really good connection when it comes to germany and I still get major lag in several matches and the game overall feels shaky.

I know this already got resolved, but Joy2Key has input lag. Wouldn't really recommend it for fighting games unless there's no other option, adapters are cheap.

They don't need more sf4 players imo, as much as I like this game it's getting old when no international players are involved.

What's good about PR Rog is that he's competitive in both sf4 and umvc3 and so far Wong was the only EG player competitive in umvc3.
