Just keep practicing the movements and you'll get it : ) it's very easy once you become efficient at quarter circles

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do to improve? I've watched tutorials and spent a good amount of time in training mode but it just isn't the same as an actual game. I have only played a couple days but it's still at the point where I feel lucky to not get perfected, will it get any better if I keep grinding it out? edit: This is on PC

I don't follow the notation because Balrog is a charge character and he doesn't have any down-forward, down, down-forward, forward motion moves.

![]() + Show Spoiler [stupid question] + Hey Torte, you're playing on xbox? Would you like to practice with me sometime? I need to improve my Yun and I can't find anyone that's starting out without getting into 20-30loss streaks because I move onto my main. (Not that my main is great, but I actually win with it)

I'm from Australia so region might be a factor. I'm getting destroyed every round and though I don't mind losing it doesn't even feel like I'm improving at all. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do to improve? I've watched tutorials and spent a good amount of time in training mode but it just isn't the same as an actual game. I guess it depends what character your using but imo the most important thing to work on is blocking, throw teching and anti-airing. In short, not letting people completely have their way with you. As to improving, try to find someone alot better than you who is willing to play a bunch of games with one character. You'll lose pretty bad, going 0-20, 0-30 perhaps, but hopefully you will begin to figure things like when you should press buttons, when not etc. ofc training mode is important too, you dont want to be dropping combos all the time, but as you said knocking out combos in training isnt the same as in a game. gl though, the game is damn fun once you get into it!

He is just OP in that regard, you only need to properly spam his attacks.
