Wakeup ultra isn't that good but at least Latif I've seen doing it multiple times and it's also pretty strong on Oni and Akuma(and more but I'm more familiar with these). It's pretty risky though unless it's against a late safejump, in those cases it's almost a freewin. Still unless it's a 3 frame ult you can safejump it(It's too bad that Akumas Shoryuken makes everyone not jump on his wakeup or his ultra would be way better as a wakeup option) Also after 10 hours in a row of grinding the same freaking stupid lameass combo I now can do the 1 frame link like 30 times in a row. Practice makes perfect!

Which is arguable harder for Juri to do than for viper to hit a combo which can lead into guaranteed ultra. Blocking wakeup / punish ultras should not be a factor because you shouldn't be doing it. No one plans wakeup ultra as part of their game plan*. If you ever mess up a punish ultra/combo into ultra its not because the ultra is bad, its that you should fix execution or use a more practical setup. If you don't have setup for landing your ultra, learn a setup for landing your ultra. *Unless you are Marn ORZ MR.N DA BEST!

4:22 that option select *-* I think that that's how a good ultra should be, one that has utility uses instead of just damage increase.

It's looking like Evil Ryu for now. I'll re-evaluate after I get my stick in 1 hour, Juri is too difficult on keyboard.

It's an Xbox 360 stick so I inserted it into my PCs usb socket right And it registered only like half the button presses and directions kept getting stuck. I was almost ready to send it back until I decided to test another USB port in the front(I initially tested the back ports). And now it's been working perfectly. What on earth? Btw them tick-720s OP.

#Kappa On a serious note, with sticks you get what you pay for, and all the decent sticks are $100+ unless you could find a cheap one on craiglist or ebay or you mod it yourself. And at that point it's really a matter of preference. Madcatz, 8arc, Hori, Qanba, they all have sticks for all the ports and for the most part they all use parts from the same big names manufacturer anyways. What probably matters most is the feel, and that is your personal liking Current popular sticks right now are: Madcatz TE - Probably the most battle tested stick out there. You could drop a bomb on this thing and the shit will not break. Most people will say this thing worths every cent they paid for it. Hori Real Arcade Pro VX SA - Probably the cheapest Hori stick you use that's tourney worthy (Hori also sells cheaper sticks at around $50 and up, but people have stories), and probably the cheapest stick you can buy fresh from stock. Contains Sanwa parts, which is good and durable EightArc Fusion - Feels good, looks good, durable, but goddamn these things are expensive ($180+ brand new). Probably don't wanna touch these. Qanba Q4 - These are real nice. They came duo modded, and they have all the little extra features that makes your life easier. At $150+ (depending on the color you want), they're a nice buy.

I'm going to fail horribly though because I still fail at using my new stick but at least I'll be gaining some live experience.
