 I'm gonna try to beat Nightmare dying only a handful of times, and because it's hardcore, I can't die on any bosses or else they'll go back to full life. It's my first time so don't yell at me for using Hero editor plox :d I might also respec, but I won't adjust anything else. Dang... Blizzard needs to relearn how to make a good game. There stupid patch increased monster life too much and introduced too many double immunes so most solo builds are useless. I really don't want to do an avenger paladin T_T so I'll probably do a bowazon. | ||

Then why don't you just quit the game when you die vs a boss... this will leave your body when you reenter the game and its the same thing, minus the hero editor. | ||

Anywho, I always preach to others (espc hardcore play) that 1 pnt in the summon tree even for a boner is a HUGE plus battling the situation you describe above. While you can definitely use pure prison/wall skills (should be maxed regardless) to solo hell and ward off baddies, 1 pnt in revive w/ + skills and battle commands usually equates to at least 7 revives (tho 2 or 3 is all you ever need even in Hell CS). And those guys will tank anything allowing you to bomb away with your bone/ce spells. Granted the 1 pnt in skellie and 1 pnt in mages is an absolute waste. And revives will never kill anything, but they provide great little tanks that can stand up to almost anything. Just some unsolicited advice for those soloing necro in Hell classic. | ||

hybrid it into a bowazon, get strafe or multishot AR can sometimes be an issue, guided arrow ALWAYS hits unless blocked, its great vs bosses runeword armors are great too, treachery gives you fade, lionheart gives hp and res and these arnt uber gg runewords like fortitude or nigma act2 might merc can help out with killing, with a lvl17 valkyrie [recast so you get a blue one, cold dmg] you will be good for a javalin, anything that replenishes is good. mana issues, give your merc an insight. MAX block with your shield helps quite a bit stats, str can be 156 if you want a 4os monarch, or less if you want a 3os trolls nest [spirit/4pdiamond in the first, sanctuary (bit hard to get runes for) for the second) dex, 200 or so, you want to block in jav/shield mode vit, rest, no energy cheap gear jav - anything that replenishes [titans revenge is best though] shield - rhyme [shael+eth], blocking, cant be frozen, res all / mosers with 2pdiamonds, massive res all and block rate helm - irathas / 3 os with resistance runes that you need armor - smoke [nef +lum], 50 res all, fhr / vipermagi [res all, +1 skills] belt - credendum, res all, +str / rare with res gloves - rare, crafted, bloodfist, your choice boots - rare with res all rings, ammy - whatever you need, AR, res, cats eye is great too merc wep - insight [ral tir tal sol] polearm armor - highest def he can get, ideally with res and +hp helm - same as armor take care of the merc, give him potions if he gets to 1/3 hp i could also post the nice uber gg items if you want, but wheres the fun in that? | ||

I've got a very ambitious project I'm working on, to be released for my 5000th post. Rest in peace CapnAmerica (unless I revive you) I kept trying to use thorns aura from a mace, and using my merc to tank hits until she died. Then I'd just use my town portal to go home. I ran out of TP's and forgot to buy more. Duriel had about 400 life left >.< And all I wanted to do was to kill Baal. You don't even like Baal. Ehh, reloaded my save and killed him with a steel runeword and zeal. I didn't have to go back to town since by using steel, I was to close for him to charge me.
