![]() Fuu Deut Synthesizer 1 was turned off to 0% Energy. Don't know why it did that.... My max temperature is 90 deg. Apparently that's good for Solar Satellites? Assuming I make it that far...

My max temperature is 90 deg. Apparently that's good for Solar Satellites? Assuming I make it that far... If you ever are in a lack of energy, turn off either metal (if you have a huge surplus or if you're doing mostly researching technologies instead of structures) or crystal (large amount of crystal). But never turn off deuterium because it is such an important resource. Hell, even fusion reactors are out of the question because it takes deuterium to power it. Your deuterium will be used to do a lot of research, building, shipmaking, and fleet moving later on in the game and you do not want there to be none when you need it the most. Edit: Yes, higher temps mean you are closer to the sun (not 100% sure, because it might just be a varied thing that has nothing to do with distance from the sun) and will be able to absorb more energy from them each satellite. But it also means your deuterium production will be lower than players who are further away from the sun. You will be able to reach solar satellites. It is not that far into the tech tree; just one shipyard which should be finished in your first 24-48 hours of the game.

Just wondering, is there a limit to the amount of upgrades you can get for your mines? Whats the top end?

Whats the top end? No, there is no limit to the amount of upgrades technically, but theoretically, you will probably be 120,000,000 years old or something like that by the time you can afford a level 41 Sensor Phalanx. http://ogame.wikia.com/wiki/Sensor_Phalanx Mines are a bit more easy to upgrade, but they still take a hell of a long time, not to mention that you cannot build anything else when you are upgrading a structure. Here is a reference of the highest level buildings players have achieved. http://board.ogame.org/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=442095

Quick edit-that list is for uni35, a 5 times speed universe, so that changes quite a bit.

Why not leave it up to the community to create however they wish? That seems to defeat the purpose. I wouldn't worry to much about it honestly. We shouldn't be doing any diplomacy with any alliance (diplomacy doesn't really do anything) And as far as wars go, Wars are pretty stupid since there won't be any benefit to us.

I was asking more along the lines of why you wouldn't let the community run the political system. Why impose the page of limits for each classification when the community would impose and enforce their own rules. I'm still considering playing, I enjoyed the last game I played like this, but I'd be the guy who indiscriminately attacks everyone.

Well then you can do that! and be in the teamliquid alliance! ![]() Also a big reason why they have rules on how to set up wars is it allows you to bypass some rules. 1. Bashing rule, currently in this universe you are allowed to attack anyone planet or moon 12 times within 24 hours, if you exceed 12 attacks within 24 hours then you can be temp banned for bashing During a war, the bashing rule is lifted. Other than that The rest seem like guidelines on how have the war posted. Also You do not have to be at war with anyone to attack them. If i haven't really addressed your question thourghly just pm me and we can talk it out some more.

AFAIK, being in an alliance does not at all restrict who you can attack--other than if there have been truces with another alliance. As long as you do not bash (attack more than the allowed per 24 hrs) a player, there won't be repercussions to doing it. You don't even have to start a war even if all members of the alliance attacked the same planet 12x each. Of course, if they are in an alliance, they might start a war with us if that happens. Also, the rules imposed can also protect this alliance once in a while if anyone ever gets caught in murky waters. ![]()

23.04.2011 00:25:23 A foreign fleet from planet GrObArI jUg [1:142:10] was sighted near your planet Tarsonis [1:148:8]. Chance of counter-espionage: 0 % When it says the fleet is sighted near my planet, is that the game's way of saying that GrObArl jUg directed his fleet at me? Or does it actually mean that his fleet might be returning from a raid on some other planet and it passed by my planet on its way home? Either way, he's got a debris field consisting of: Metal: 7.200 Crystal: 9.000 at his planet, so he's taken a small amount of beatings himself. I found this mostly strange because nobody else in my galaxy is able to attack or be attacked by him or me. Same for his galaxy--his neighbors aren't able to be attacked by us.

![]() A friendly warning to all you potential ogamers. This thinkg will absorbe your life; you'll find yourself waking up at weird hours to check ogame for 15 min and make sure no one is attacking you and waking up 20-30 min before your fleet comes back to make sure no one is attacking you. You'll curse the person who attacks you and leaves you 6 seconds to re send your fleet anywhere else to make sure you don't lose anything. OH GOD ㅠ_ㅠ So many memories... Some tips: planets in positions 6-8 are in average larger. PLanets in positions 13-15 usually produce more deuterium Planets in positions 1-4 are of course hotter and the solar energy plant is more effective, or something along those lines. Enjoy ogame y'all ![]() Edit: http://board.ogame.com.es/board730-universos115/board474-universo4/board99-batallas/board289-hofuni4/505208-gaudionovavscr4zyh0r5ecrg302m/?highlight=cr4zyh0r5e I can't believe that thing is still there haha... It's in Spanish, in case anyone is able to read it... It's my guest appearance in the hall of fame of uni4 in ogame.es in the wrong end of the battle D:

That wiki is old. Considering you can't get 300 size planets anymore. When you colonize, hover over the icon and it will give a short discription of what that slot is like. 1-3 don't bother with way to small 99% of the time, and never worth it (yeah i mean never) slots 13-15 are again imo are almost never worth it, 90% of the time, Its hard to get a large one (above 190 fields) And solar sats are useless at that temp. Best to colonize 7-9 Those will give you the best chance at a large planet (190 fields or best)

At this rate we might become the biggest alliance in the universe (sounds evil).
