Except you can. As a shriker for team tao I'm well aware this is possible. Vir or some other comp shrikers can do the same. | ||

I'd rather pay normal price and have everything unlocked, and all abilities unlocked, like T1/T2 . I hate this COD-esque unlocking that gives advantages for playtime, I want everyone to always start with the same abilities and skills available. That way there is no other variable than your own skill. TF2 managed to do a F2P model with cosmetic upgrades, wish TA would've done the same. With advantages given for playtime (or money for classes), I feel TA can never be a truly competitive game like Quake or CS (or even SC2).Hopefully I'll be proven wrong. | ||

TF2 cost money to play for almost 4 years. They didn't have any pressure to make huge amounts of money from the microtransactions. In T:A you can buy a 30-day booster for less than what TF2 used to cost (either separately or as one third of the orange box), play 2 hours a day for that month and have everything worth using in competition unlocked. | ||
