Mortars are actually really bad in TA. Compared to previous games they're complete jokes.

Yeah that's good defense. Even taking away significant health is a huge plus for your team. Defense isn't usually about stopping them from capping but instead killing the capper asap and you help with that. Now if you're on a team full of idiots (as often happens in pubs) and the guy still makes the cap it's because no one on your team is chasing/doing an emergency grab, or they suck too bad to do either well.

Generator D is good but not at the expense of not defending the flag unless there are multiple people defending and you aren't needed immediately. You gotta be careful because getting your gen up is rarely worth not getting shots on the flag capper.

I'm starting to feel that defense is kinda wasteful because it is so hard to damage decent (180+ kph) cappers at the flag post (With the Doombringer is funny, I see myself as those AA guns that can't hit shit in the movies) Maybe a raider to chase and disrupt their defense? Capper, sniper and chaser are the only roles I feel are efficient, and I hate them all Are flag defense heavies worthy or should I start practicing something else?

easiest way to prevent discs/thumper from knocking you off is to jet straight up in the air. this is only if you see them coming in. then plan your descent right when they are going to be on the flag. it's an easy way to counter thumper spammers or disc users coming in fast

actually, most shoot at the flag trying to clear mines. i've maybe been MAd once or twice the entire time i've played jugg flag d, and i play it a lot. trust me, it works

It'd be awesome if I could play this but it does not install. It sucks since I'd like to play it too. Using the Hi Command installer links from the Hi Rez website and I constantly get the Hi Rez Update and Authentication service failed when attempting to install it.

I managed to get it to work Had to clean my registry ,first of all because it just needed to happen, secondly because I had used to play Global Agenda (when it was still pay) and had an old install of that and the old registry key was giving the installer some trouble lol

Fractal grenade is powerful because brute's secondary is a joke and heavy spinfusor is only marginally more powerful than the medium one. I think heavy classes are quite balanced, doombringer could use some love, chaingun that isn't outdamaged by smgs would be a nice start.

As of a few patches ago the chaingun does more damage than any other rapid fire weapon.

Just started playing the beta tonight, wow is this a fun game, I love the movement and speed, nothing in any shooter is a satisfying as hitting someone midair with a spinfusor as they zoom past you. Having a blast.

This game gives me motion sickness,and i've never experienced it before,aside from that the jumping mechanics are so annoying,is like floor is lava or something,everyone is always jumping 15 meters in the air and shooting the ground ._.

Ranger is the best overall class, yes.
Sentinels are far more manageable with the current nerf.

The biggest problem right now is how fast anything dies to focused machine gun fire.

Does anybody know why there was no patch this week? Usually they release patches every week, they even released one the last week of 2011.

My guess is that either something went wrong or they are preparing a really big patch for next week.
