Why the hell is Jugg 900, and Technician so freaking expensive? Defending the base is one of the MOST important parts of any game. Keeping the Generator alive, upgrading turrets, repairing turrets, radar station, so forth. It basically requires a dedicated Technician, and perhaps two if it's a really large game. Offensive classes such as the Pathfinder are a nice 1800, but that's it -- everything else is like 7200. So from the get go, the only classes to really play are the Soldier, Ranger, and Juggernaut. So we're getting entire games of teams full of Juggs and Rangers, and very few diversity elsewhere. Honestly, I understand that they need to have a class that is priced at 900 -- but it should NOT be the Juggernaut. They should keep the Soldier/Ranger free of course. However, the prices need to be reworked entirely. Technician definitely needs to be 1800 or something of that nature. Of all the Heavy classes, making the Juggernaut the cheapest was by far the stupidest. If anything the Brute should be 900, Juggernaut 7200, and Doombringer 3200. Pathfinder is perfect where it is. This is really just blowing me away though, why is Juggernaut 900 and Brute so costly? I mean, just admit it -- the Brute sucks in comparison for its price. It gets a Spinfuser and a Shotgun and....that's really it. Honestly, the only classes that should be 9600 in my opinion are the Sentinel and Infiltrator. The sentinel is extremely strong, and the Infiltrator is an extremely hard role that can make or break a teams offense and should not be available for everyone. Yes, I know it costs a good amount right now -- but it's not enough IMO. | ||

I can do comparable damage with the ranger rifle in the same amount of time as a spinfusor if i aim right. The reason why hes responding the way he is is that Tribes has always been a very high skill ceiling game due to the fact that most weapons require you to anticipate their movements. Youre whining because you want to be able to just point and click at someone to kill them. I'll respectfully suggest that you go play CoD if thats what youre looking for. Hitscan weapons should be more for finishing someone off in Tribes, they shouldnt be something you can just look at someone and kill them with. | ||

In three games, my entire team were Juggernauts trying to cap the flag with them and whining that this game is too hard, I shit you not. Another game I had, and I know I exaggerate a lot but I'm being serious right now -- an entire team of rangers. Literally, the entire team. They would REFUSE to attack the enemy base, and even then, they managed to cap the flag on us 5 times before 10 minutes was over and keep our generator perma killed. Because all they did was use their Assault Rifle. I was the only one attacking, and, somehow, got two caps. My last two games Charger had the pleasure of being in and watching me go on full tilt from rage. | ||
