Many good things in that patch, especially
Increased self-knockback (“disk-jumping” or “rocket-jumping”) on all explosive projectile weapons by 20%.
Increased projectile collision size on all Spinfusors, Bolt Launchers, and Thumpers to 10 (as a reference, Plasma Guns are 35). This will make mid-airs and direct hits more forgiving.
Decreased the extra delay between bursts on Pathfinder’s LAR from 0.16s to 0.072s.
Reduced damage on Infiltrator’s Jackal so it can no longer 1 shot an upgraded medium from stealth. This is a 16% reduction.
I'm not very happy about the DMB nerf, but we'll see how it plays out.
Edit: Actually, I'm highly sceptical to the nitron knockback nerf as well... We'll see how it plays out, but as it stands, its going to make chasing even harder.

Another buff to prox grenades by 16%? these things do like 700 dmg now, as if soldier wasnt a good enough dueling class already. Also people have crunched the numbers and found that the nitron nerf is a bigger nerf to chasing because to chase with the nitron nerf at the same speed as you do now, you will only have 50 hp left. Twinfusor could be intresting for chasing/capping though if it has same knockback as the normal spinfusor with less self dmg

LOL +23% aoe radius for sonic punch, but no fix for punching through walls? this is getting ridiculous :D
mostly good patch notes though i think. The migration of knockback strengh from nitrons to discs is probably asounds like a very good step towards enabling chasing, although i bet tons of people will immediately start screaming "NOT ENOUGH OMFGWTF" (and while they may be right, they still are just whiners ).
soldier proximity nade .. hm, when running flag caps against a soldier who drops those on the flag when you are coming in, you basically always die anyways, so it doesn't change anything there. It probably just helps a lot in open space duels, which are usually fought against raiders i guess so this can only help. so i guess that's fine?

Increased damage by 8% on Doombringer’s Titan Launcher. Reduced reload time on Doombringer’s Titan Launcher from 1.8 to 1.7. Why would you do that? The titan launcher is the easiest weapon and already strong.
Reduced knockback from Pathfinder’s Impact Nitron and Compact Nitron’s by 23% to be more in line with the amount of damage being done, and to favor using the increased values on spinfusors and other projectile weapons. If disc, or bolt jumping turns out to be weaker than nitron jump. I don't know what I'll do. This is more of a nerf to chasers once again because it doesn't matter to cappers, they get to frontload their speed. HIRez, I thought you were going to buff chasing, but all I've seen is nerfs.
Reduced knockback from Raider’s White Out grenade, Grenade Launcher, Arx Buster and Dust Devil to be more appropriate for the number of shots and amount of damage being done. Wonder if I'll be able to kill people in one round still after knockback reduce.
Increased damage on Soldier's Proximity Grenade by 16%. These don't need to be buff. Proxies make terrible on flag defenders play soldiers instead HoF.

Did a hidden update happen? I'm playing in pubs and only can get in pubs with people my rank. I like this, but this is also bad for high ranks who play on west because there aren't a lot of high ranks on west.

It was in the patch notes that they were changing the matchmaking for pubs.

Damn more jackal nerfs to all of the assasinations it can do. Can't even two shot a light or sticky+3shot heavies anymore. J4-K1 was my fav weapon, now it's not even better than stickys anymore, guess I need to switch back to smg and looter and just sticky+knife mids and 2xsticky+knife heavies and knife+melee lights if I need more nades when I want to mess around as an inf. Nitron nerfs are also really significant. These patches are always so hit and miss.

New Players joining the queue (under rank 6) will now play a smaller subset of maps more friendly to learning the game. All maps will rotate for players rank 6 and over.
