Patching day once again
Not too fond of the badge system as achievements have never really interested me at all. Add in that now they start to give you something(besides the arbitary achievement points) me no gusta. I guess it's fine for someone who has to collect ALL the accolades.
Also hopefully Bella Omega will stay where ever it's now for a long time.

I got 1 game in before the servers went down, and I can already feel how the badges are affecting my mindset and the decisions I make. I don't like it :/ Hopefully I can get most of them out of the way quickly so I can go back to playing like normal. Damn achievement OCD.

Ugh irritating scope bug they introduced with this patch.

So they 'officially' remove Bella and Temple.
Both mortars were at 25% inheritance before this patch or something?

What does that inheritance on the mortars refer to? Servers have been down every time I've tried today so I haven't been able to play with the changes yet.

I can't keep a connection to the T:A forums so right now I can't link you to the extensive threads there examining these issues, however there are very well thought out threads on their forums explaining these issues. So instead of half-assing a response to you I'll wait til I can link you to these threads and you can decide for yourself.

It means that 50% of the players velocity at the time the mortar is shot is added to the base projectile velocity.

Jesus there's a team stack bug too. WTF @ this patch.

Also I don't think its intended but light turrets seem to be shooting super crazy fast, as least +50%.
Basically I can kill people almost instantly by dropping a light turret at my feet when they come near me, lol.

Like half the time when you scope, none of the HUD/gun shows up so you just get the targeting reticule and nothing else. It's annoying because I usually use the lines to gauge distance, and I can't see how charged my shot is.

Would that be too easy or something? Because that would be too easy. 50% inheritance is a nice value that requies skill. 100% also results in weird behaviour when shooting backwards.

Ok so I officially suck at HoF. I've been trying to learn Doombringer but I rarely stop cappers and most of the time I don't even see them coming. I feel like it's impossible to sit on the flag safely because there are always enemies around the flag stand killing me, which makes it impossible to do any defence. Anyone got advice?
