Campaigns are short, games are always the same and Activision is a money greedy company with the biggest jerk in the gaming industry as head and thus not worth supporting with your money. 20 € are spent way better on a lot of other games. Modern Warfare had quite a few memorable moments in the campaign. It might be one of the best single player FPS campaigns I've played (It WAS short though). I can't speak for the other games in the series, but if they hold the same quality it can be worth it if you can't find it for cheap. Modern Warfare is still the best CoD by a mile. I don't know. I liked the WW2 ones the best (pre moderngaming/nextgen bs era).
Call of Duty 2 guys! That game was the shit, everything afterward was just meh for me. Side note, played a bit of Insurgency, and i think its really fun. Its a good mix of casual/hardcore gameplay, guns having a lot of recoil, dying can cost you capturing a zone and waiting to respawn (which can take up to 30s), it only takes a few bullets to die, more emphasis on teamplay (having a mic is a good thing). Im pretty happy with it, and its free for the weekend, so anyone wanting to try an FPS that takes some skill and coordination, should give it a try. Thumbs up for me!

Word. I played the crap out of this one, even competitive it was so awesome (Played EAS and Clanbase).

I really liked all the non-mainline CoD games. Finest Hour, CoD 2: Big Red One, and CoD 3 were all really good.
CoD 3 especially. The multiplayer had awesome class-based gameplay, vehicles, and fun maps. The singleplayer had the only section I'm aware of in any game where you play as the Polish.

Nice tip. A free week of playtime, probably as long as I ever want of the game.

I'm looking at the minimum requirements for COD:Ghosts and it needs 6gbs of RAM... What? Plus Modern Warfare had the best single player mission, All Ghillied Up following that. The most hated mission for me One Shot, One Kill.

I think they patched it so you can start it now atleast with 4gb RAM, but yeah needs 6gb RAM, which it never uses and still looks like Modern Warfare 2, I don't even know.
Edit: Just found out they have been using the same engine since Call of duty 2, heavily upgraded though. Still, I find it hilarous.

Yeah and the CoD 2 engine is a modified version of the ID tech 3 engine (AKA Quake 3 Arena). They really cut every corner possible just to not have to make a new engine lol.

Ys Origin is quite good (well worth $6 imo), Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is kind of ok, haven't played the rest of the bundle.

I don't think so. Ghost wasn't well recieved, even in the CoD fancom. To this day, CoD 4 MW and CoD 2 Multiplayer are still the most played CoD's by far. I still asked the question to myself when the time comes when the "new" CoD every 6 month stops working entirely.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is literally Dynasty Warriors/DMC Hybrid but in more closed area. Each level is different monsters/scenary but you just play in this little circular arena area. But it has some RPG elements to it (can learn new attacks, strengthen new attacks, get more health etc.) And the blade mechanics are pretty cool where you have to use non blade attacks to clean the blood off your sword to keep it doing max damage. Highest combo i ever got in a row was 317.

Is TW: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai worth getting? $7.49 seems like a great deal. I've heard good things about TW:S2, but wondered if there are any problems or shortcomings I should know about.

If you want a fun and challenging experience, you need mods for Total War games. Base version of Total War games are extremely stale and easy after a few hours of playtime. But nonetheless it is worth it coming from someone that was played all the games in the series, Shogun 2 is by far superior to Rome 2 so get FotS to enhance and diversify the experience.

idk about shogun 2 =/ i pretty much liked rome because of the larger map.
