warband is a full game, not expansion.
Warband has the napoleon expansion, which is mainly for multiplayer.
Also, a fully working version of Z is on steam, completely rewritten into C. Its balance is not changed as far as i can see for now, unlike the free ported version that had issues.

Do you guys buy Alpha Access games?
|
Warband is worth every penny, just saying. ;]
And no, I do not touch Early Access unless I need to when my job demands it. I prefer to wait for full release.
|
I ignore all early access games.
|
...there is one early access game that made me almost instantly buy it after I saw this: http://www.failbettergames.com/sunlesssearoadmap
Early access with a clear roadmap, history to show they keep it up and very detailed info on what it is and wants to be to which degree? Hell yeah.

I bought rust since its the guy from Gary's mod that is doing it and I trust that he wont just bail on the game. However I bought project zomboid aswell and it is taking a long ass time to complete if it ever will be completed. Basically if you want to take a risk or trust the developer then alpha access is good. But it can blow back on you.
Also hello Han above me

I only buy early access if i think that why i get RIGHT NOW is worth the money i spend.

Depending on what it is. Space engineers is a go to. The game will be finished. They sold 500000 copies of it. I had 1crash in 120 hours of game.
Planetary annhiliation is nice but expensive (and quite buggy for now)

That said im in love with the napoleon expansion For me, chivaly takes the least important part of the game and makes it a stand alone title. M&B is amazing because of its empire and army building features and the RPG elements. It's kinda like TES, the combat is a necessary part but far from what makes the game good.

M&B slice an infidel with your two handed axe
10/10 would slice again

M&B is a slow-paced game when you're not in combat or battle so it's not for everyone. Sieges are frustrating tho, curious how it will be improved in M&B 2.

Are the quakecon deals ending with Skyrim ? or do we have another deal ? because of the time zones i never get that, it says till the 21st
And i REALLY want Quake 4 15 its still way too much

Seiges are just impossible to sit through unless you've got a lot of points in crossbow/archery. Then it's headshotting cpu soldiers standing at identical heights along the ramparts.

Sieges ruined that game for me, not sure if any of the common mods improved on it though.
