Very true. I was a hardcore SimCity 3000 fan until they had Rush Hour and the community made the Network Addon. The Network Addon rewrites the traffic/transportation AI. The tons of community made mods are incredible too. You won't waste your money one bit if you get SimCity4. Too bad they made Societies after this and spoiled the barrel. Also, please what ever you do, do not vote for Cities XL.

I think I'll give Rushour and that mod another try, thanks for the input guys! Any other mods you recommend?
Also is Cities XL THAT bad? It kind of looks okay on screenshots. =D

if you want to make a city with farms, some kind of farming mod is good because the original farms are ugly and provide few jobs. And i also use a mod that adds tram stations and bus stations in the middle of a street instead of using a tile. but thats just convenience, network addon mod is enough to make this game very good. Dont add too much, the game gets unstable quickly.

Cities is a bore. It just looks pretty. Also there are bugs that make it nearly unplayable after a decent period of time, even on a multicore beast machine. Plus there is very little to no tech support/patching for the product. I would advise to get Anno or SimCity4. Both will give a ton more player satisfaction.

Recettear is 75% off. Buy it, don't ask, just buy it.
OMG @ today's sales. *Gets the lube for my wallet*
Games to get:
STALKER: CoP (great replay value and a good modding scene, also grab SoC. Play SoC first if you get that one) THIEF everything Super Meat Boy
the indie bundle has good games in it.
I think Chantelise is more fun than Recettear, unless you really like the shop-running part of Recettear. Chantelise has more for you to do when fighting stuff so it is more interesting. (Also it is half as expensive.)
Does anyone know anything about Fortune Summoners?? I didn't even know the game existed until today but I liked Recettear and Chantelise so I am interested.

Fucking Addendum
Total War Pack. I didnt realize that was like, every fucking Total War game.
Total War Mega pack is everything but Shogun. Pretty good if you dont own any of them now. For some reason. :S
LA noire is a must buy at that price
Today's sales are great.

Capitalism hooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It figures Recettear would be on sale on the best day of sales for me. I am getting SoaSE:Rebellion, the Theif Complete pack, Recettear, and anything good I might like from the community vote and flash sales.
What's so great about Recettear?
DAMNIT did i miss a bioshock flash sale?? bleh so tempted to buy STALKER pack. edit: sad face

Getting Medieval Total War II. The rest doesnt look appealing to me.

The story and humor. You are bascially playing an RPG from the item shop point of view.
