You won't be dissapointed, I think that not only was it immersive and interesting to learn about everything and what was going on, the action is pretty fuckin satisfying. Also, its a beautiful game.

Not gonna miss it this time. Can you give your opinion as well as anybody else who has played this game? It seems really interesting but I'm not sure about it, I've watched some reviews on it but still can't really decide on whether or not i should get it.

@Jakatak_ what kind of game is Alan Wake? Is there a lot of action or is it more like an interactive book where to story plays the biggest role? Tried looking at a let's play a few minutes but that does not suffice to see what what role the story plays. Thanks in advance

Tried looking at a let's play a few minutes but that does not suffice to see what what role the story plays. Thanks in advance The story is actually really good, It actually feels like a Stephen King novel and has things that are similar to chapters in a book where it concludes for a little bit before continuing the story. I really like games that have an emphasis on story and atmosphere and this game does both of those extremely well. The action wasn't something i cared too much about when i got this game, but it is actually way more satisfying than i expected. It's not the kind of game that gives up story/atmosphere for the action such as the case for games like "F.E.A.R." The action blends in very well with the game and there's a lot of tiny scripted things when you are just walking around that make the game so much better. Like you might be searching a trailer or something and you'll be looking at a tv (plays some weird stuff that might pertain to the story sometimes and i found myself watching it until it looped) or just picking something off the ground and turn around and see some dark shadow of a person move outside. If you like games that focus on story/atmosphere then you will love this game, if you are more into action games but also appreciate story/atmosphere I would still get this game along with the american nightmare dlc (for the action people). If you love games like "Amnesia: the dark descent, Limbo, Max Payne 1" then you should definently get this game. to answer your question its really more of an interactive book where the story plays the biggest role, but there is a lot of action but it fits really well into the story. I didn't expect it to be so story heavy when i first got it, but it surprised me, there's a lot of story to it. Also, try to pick up as many "pages" as possible, you'll know what im talking about if you play.

Also, try to pick up as many "pages" as possible, you'll know what im talking about if you play. Just to add, the game is narrated by the main character and throughout the game, the main character will add in snippets of narration which really add to the story. It really feels like your playing inside some kind of story in a book while someone on the outside is watching. As for the action, the enemies cannot be attacked by normal means, you need a light source aka flashlight to weaken them and then you can physically harm them with guns. Whatever gun you pick up in each episode does not carry over to the next. The action feels really good, its not just spray and pray because there is limited ammo and not enough batteries to power your flashlight on every single enemy, so you need to choose when to attack and when to run. There are quite of bit cut scenes but they arent too long. for what the price is on steam right now, its sooooo worth it.

Really waiting for next years new sim city. Anno 1404 is sadly not sold on steam anymore. Thought about tropico but it did not seem to be what I was searching for. And I did not like part 1 too much. grand ages rome is quite a good building game. Europa universalis 3 is grand strategy (if you liked civ 4) that is very good. Knights of honor is a mix of total war and europa universalis (totally underrated) Railroad tycoon 2 is very good and Rollercoaster tycoon 3 is ok too, since there is a fanmade mod that imports the old RCT 1 and 2 scenarios (who are actually challeging) into it. galciv 2 is comparable to civ 4
