The balance is pretty close to wear it needs to be. A few anti-air units need some changes to make both them and the aircraft they shoot have better options for survival and kills with skill. Some of the scopes you purchase with certification points (earned through killing, healing/repairing/ammosupplying, and capturing points) were rather hard to guess what they actually were and pair with how the gun's effective range could change. Bio Labs have a learning curve in their assaults (Cap the Pts? Kill the shields and SCU? Take all 4 warp pts or just 1 and zerg? Crash it with Maxes?), and there's a little defensive perimeter way too easy to defend in the tech plants on Amerish. Held out on a continent cap for an entire day just with 2 platoons against 4 TR and, here and there, 1 VS. | ||

First epic death scene: I spawn up at the top. I play a Light Trooper cause its my favorite...flying is awsome. Anyways i run and sprint off the platform, i spam jump jets be4 i hit the ground, land on a roof behind about 500 people. I throw a grenade and just start unloading. I kill 3 with the grenade, killed 5 more with my gun. killed another with my pistol. And then finally got killed. but for about A minute i felt like i could whoop rambo's ass. (I had spawned in a sunderer at bottom orgiinally but they were camping the stupid barriers so i spawned up top.) 2nd Epic death scene: I do one of those dropped from space things, on top of the same base as an engineer. They had begun their taking over of the top section of the base. Anyways i get dropped onto the giant dome. I slowly work my way down so that I am looking on to one of the launch pads where you land when you take the jumper purple thing (? lol). I get in a spot where i can crouch and be unseen, and stand and shoot. Long Story short: I kill about 20 people before they realize im up there lol. In the chaos as they were breaching that door they never figured out i was a couple hundred meters up the dome lol. And since I was an engineer i just would drop ammo for myself, and there was only one little spot on the white pipe it would let me drop it. 3rd Epic fight scene: I jumpjet out of a sunderer over a wall into this base. I kill one guy, and then 5 guys start chasing and shooting me. I get to top of stairs, kill another , sprint and reload. Jump into the yellow booster thing... get to the top, kill a 3rd guy. Jump off, reloading, and using jump jets to slow my fall. Get to the bottom and kill an engineer who was on a turret, reload and kill a guy who jumped after me. Last guy jumps down and I kill him with my pistol. WAS FREAKING EPIC i roared irl. lolol Sry i dont know any names cause i play solo and dont bother reading the names of places lol. I just go to whereever the fighting is. Also i love the jump jets, getting to strange spots and shooting from there is fun...tho i always need more ammo. Am not a big fan of FPS's generally, but I love the strategic play of both Light Trooper and Engineer. (with Light I like finding wierd spots to hide and killing people who never see me) (and with Engineer I like to place my turret in an extremely forward position and mow people down lol) One thing I dont like... i feel like i have literally 0 control over where my grenades go... Look a doorway.. *bounces grenade off outside edge of doorway into my team* *o look a group of people surrounding a sunderer.. throw grenade about 50 meters from them...* | ||

Im not sure what to do in this game but i feel like being dropped into an entirely new system with not even the faintest idea what it is or how it is supposed to work with no explanation or help or feedback from actions at all. Do i get exp for shooting at things? | ||

Do i get exp for shooting at things? yah bro, the way they start u off is pretty bad lol i find it pretty amusing regardless anyways, hit escape and go to the squad menu join up in one, use your mic and ask for help start playing with other people, gun for their tanks/aircraft, choose engineer and repair maxs / drop ammo play a medic and ressurect/heal people tons of stuff to do, just need to explore watch the beginners guide video i got up on the front page | ||
