Reflex Sight is a must, I think for anyone except a sniper. I believe the first point in Nanoweave Armor increases your health by 10% so that's a mighty early cert as well.
I'll go down a medic route, I think it'll be something like this
+ Show Spoiler + Nanoweave Armor 1 Nano-Regen Device 1 Medical Applicator 5 Nanoweave Armor 5 Nano-Regen Device 5 Medical Applicator 15 Nano-Regen Device 15 Nanoweave Armor 25
I hope to get this done on the first day, 72 certs should be doable.
After that it will be (both for standard weapon) Reflex Sight Forward Grip should be 50+15, don't know which one is which, want to have this after the 2nd day.
3rd day will be Sunderer AMS (50) for me, and start working towards
Medical Applicator 25 Nano-Regen Device 25 Medical Applicator 50 Nanoweave Armor 75
And I hope to be here after the weekend. But you never know, maybe they will tune down the cert gain into oblibvion or something.
After that, I don't know, Nano-Regen maxes out at 100, Medical Applicator needs 250, Nanoweave Armor a whopping 500. Might put something into Engineer's Nano repair kit or go for HA anti air rocket launcher

One more day until launch. I'm still taking PMs if you want in on the East Coast TR outfit (edit: Mattherson). Teamspeak is in place.
To answer Bloodash, I'm going for AMS sunderer first, they're the heart of a push.

When last i checked the official forums they talked about Nanoweave increasing your defensive TTK by 2ish bullets at average across the board (aside from bolt action sniper), but your final cert into nanoweave had no such effect. This game is jolly confusing at times.

Oh yeah, I'm off to work now and when I'm back I'll get to witness the amount of fail that SOE can deliver. This will be awesome!

It's like any MMO. There will be lagging and crashing... But, it's still going to be awesome. They'll have the kinks ironed out in a couple days. Where is the fail?

Launch day fail is an expected part of the MMO gaming experiance. I wonder if any MMO game will launch without an issue?

I'll be forming up the East TR outfit on Mattherson.

I'm legitimately worried about the problems the people in the beta are going to have when they install the new client. its going to really suck if the people who suffered though the beta get shafted by having to download a slightly different client causing them not to be able to play.

Every recent MMO had big betas and all of them still screwed up launch day. I have no big hopes for today though i'm open to being suprised.
Who does the EU TL outfit? And which faction? And which server?

Full game is now out of Beta and LIVE as of 30 seconds before this post, no more character wipes!
Vanu Sovereignty for life! Woot!

Can anyone give me a bullet point list of this game's touted features? Seems like an FPS MMO, and the only other one I've played is Tabula Rasa. It certainly looks interesting, and being F2P is very attractive to me.
Edit: one more question: how much of the shooting is actual shooting? I guess what I mean is that, with Tabula Rasa as an example (if anyone's played it), you're aiming with the mouse, zooming with RMB, firing with LMB, but once you "locked on" to a mob, you don't actually have to aim since the bullets just magically fly at it. Is this the same or is aiming a legitimate concern?

In short: It's Battlefield (in space) with up to 6000 players simultaneously and no map restarts.
- FPS - Persistent world - 3 Factions - No NPCs - Great graphics that you can't experience because no PC in the world can probably handle them in big battles
It's also a real FPS, no "locking" (apart from some missiles). Includes bullet drop and such.
If anyone has trouble getting the download because the site is too slow, try: https://launch.soe.com/installer/PS2_setup.exe

its up for download in steam

Steam was doing great at the start with the download speed, but stuck between 1MB/s and 3MB/s now
