Largely yes, it's exactly the same but with more connections between capture points in PS2. The main difference is that there used to be more in the way of bonuses to different types of base that would then apply to all your territory on that continent as long as it was connected. PS2 has the inf/mech/air resource supply instead tho, which is more simplified but serves much the same purpose. | ||

Gate Shield Diffuser: Great tool to break into facilities. Load up a sunderer, drive through the shields and suprise the attackers. Works great on tech plants. :O awesome, didn't even notice this existed. | ||

That means you can only get one busload of people in and they won't get reinforcements, so the suprise attack has to do a lot of damage or it's a wasted sunderer. I suggest getting in something along the lines of 8 maxes, 2 medics, 2 engineers for maximum havoc. | ||

I think it only works if you use the launcher e.g. LaunchPad.exe and not the actual Planetside2 application for some reason. | ||

Drove straight into the enemy amp station, right through the shields past two enemy prowlers and an enemy sunderer. They were so baffled that they didn't even shoot me for a whole minute until they figured out that blue is actually the color of one of their mortal enemies. Once they actually started shooting me, the GSD had already recharged so i just activated the upgrade again and drove out, leaving a group of stunned TR behind me. It was pointless since i didn't even have people in my sunderer and it wasn't even connected to NC territory but it was still so much fun  | ||
