I just have to say one thing after playing the demo. THE ELEVATOR'S AREN'T SAFE ANYMORE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
^^ haha, they weren't all safe in the last one either... also, gonna be buying/playing this game on release day, and I CANT WAIT!
True True.. It was a issue in Dead Space 1 as there were no necromorphs popping out from the vents on the top,on my first time I was constantly looking to the top to see if they were trying to ambush me but it never happened
I remember the most terrifying thing about the first one was the PC controls not the monsters etc. so i ended up watching a "lets play" of the whole game. If they fix the controls for he second one i might play it - if not i hope someone gets the videos up really fast, cause the game looks awesome.

Got a 9/10 from game informers.
This is going to be a game you want to play in silence with the sound turned up as high as possible. The ambient noises are going to be awesome.

Yeh But I'm afriad that Dead Space 2 won't be able to live up to the hype as Dead Space 1.. cause the whole point about Dead Space 1 was Isaac not talking.. which made the creepy and silent environment in Dead Space
not a big fan of talking Isac, opens up the chance of his voice/acting/lines sucking/ sounding cliché, and I'm afraid it will, but we'll see.
Isaac not talking added to the feeling of emptiness and helplessness but i dont think they will screw up the voice acting.
I played through the first game on every difficutly and i am really looking forward to the sequel.
pretty psyched for this. i loved the layout of the first game. having all the menu options and hud elements in the game itself gave it a very realistic feel.
yeah, I loved the first one as well, cant wait for this one! I have it preordered too, might cut into my starcraft time a bit
I'm glad Issac talks, from the demo the voice acting sounds good. New zero gravity doesn't give me a headache like the first one so a good change for me.
It seems like the enemies pop up behind you a lot more often so I'll be suffering a few heart attacks throughout the game.
Preordered and looking forward to I like a child waiting for presents on christmas day. First one was really great and I have a feeling this one is not. I'll just have too wait and see.
Too scary, can't play it. Will watch someone's stream or youtube play list just to get the feel. Did that for amnesia and my god i can almost, but not entirely, feel what he is going into..

I just hope that it isn't casualized/made almost a pure shooter.

Actually the GI review said that you'll die a ton due to enemies dropping behind you while you're already fighting necros in front of you, to the point that it's kind of BS. It went on to say that normal mode feels like hard or even expert compared to most games.
I'm going to rent Dead Space 2 when it comes out. Should I rent the first one and finish it first? Or does it really matterr??

That's awesome. I love challenging games, its not often you see sequels ramp up the difficulty. Can't wait to play this game.
