You do know PC version of bad company 2 has more online players and popularity than PS3 and 360 together

We make a main tag for TL, and everyone on TL can put that tag on. Then, depending on what you are really good at (not what you just "like to do" we've had enough of omg let me pilot the helicopter into the ground antics), a la Team Liquid Special Forces, Team Liquid Rangers, Team Liquid Air Force, Team Liquid Armored Division. I'm over thinking this but screw it it'll be fun. Should there be a new thread for this or should there be a new author so the author can edit the main page info so we can do things like this? + We could seperate PC players from 360/Ps3 players + organize what team's you'd like to be in. I don't know if saying what you want to do in the team is the best idea, because I know a lot of people will want to try all the stuff anyway. But given how awesome Teamliquid is, I bet that teamwork won't be a problem and there will always be one or two of every class to help the team out. There's probably more to add, but that's all I care to think about right now since the game is still around 3 months away. Maybe someone can take responsibility or a bunch of people can by pm-ing the mods so we can edit this info on the 1st page for teams/pc/360/ps3 players? I don't think Lazy Macro checks this much anymore. He has lazy macro.

I normally like playing sniper classes, or else assault/close range classes (SMG, AR). However, when I play those, I mostly like infiltrating stuff and backstabbing the entire enemy team, more than doing frontal assaults. :p And don't worry, I don't want to fly the helicopter either. I've had enough bad experiences with those, from not knowing the controls, haha. EDIT: I'd be playing on PC

However, If we're playing in a fun match i don't think it would be fun if our "pilot" was the only one allowed to fly jets. I think we should designate when these roles apply. I completely agree that these should be in place for competitive matches though.

For the normal "for fun" matches it would be stupid to not let everyone just do what they want.

Well duh, that's common sense. There are some exceptions, but who would want to play with us if we were going "PLAY THIS CLASS OR YOU GET THE KICK"

OMG I DONT WANT TO PILOT DA CHOPPA. But If the Pilot doesn't mind giving me a ride behind enemy lines to execute the aforementioned Rambo style ninja assault, nothing like giving it to them from the rear.

In Battlefield 2, you could sabotage the enemy by taking out artillery guns, UAV stations, and satellite dishes. In BC2, the most you could do was put mines and C4 on their vehicles, which was hard to pull off because the maps were so narrow. But IIRC BF2 and BF2142 both had commanders, while BF3 doesn't have commanders confirmed yet.

Taking it a step further, having people purposely troll their own team through team-kills and sabotaging team vehicles is pretty bad. (Yet, I am also guilty of trolling my own team when I played BF1942 years ago. I am lucky to have grown out of my immature ways).
