SMG's for SF (C4, pistol, can't remember the 4th item they had) Assault rifles for Assault (pistol, ammo box, smoke) LMG's for Medics (defibs, medic box, pistol) Snipers get sniper rifles only (pistol is the only other item i remember them having) Engineers get shotguns (repair tool, RPG, Mines, pistol) Each kit gets upgraded weapons for the class they have, i.e. no bullshit snipers with camo and auto shotties If they do this then I'm sold, also WAKE ISLAND BETTER BE IN THE MAP SELECTION!

Conquest maps are great and all, but it gets real boring when its pretty clear from the tickets that one team has the advantage, and it demoralizes people from continuing to play the game.

They have confirmed that there will only be 4 classes, so I wouldn't hold your breath on the first part.

Sad to say I have to agree with you. It would be worse then with EA/Dice. Just glad EA lets Dice make a good game like battlefield

Blizzard is part of Activision, therefore they'll burn DICE down to the ground with their overquantifying methods that result in ruined franchises.

Everything else looks great, can't wait to see multiplayer. all the gameplay footage i've seen has been from a desert, what do you expect other than brown and gray? anyways I can't wait for this game, DICE / EA has done an amazing job on the battlefield series. I've played every one since 1942 <3.

special forces: carbine, silenced pistol, C4, nades. Anti tank: SMG, launcher, pistol. (unlock has a shotgun), body armor Assault: assrifle, grenade launcher, smoke nades (?), pistol, body armor Medic: assrifle (same as assault, but different unlocks), medipack, revive paddles, nades, pistol Support: LMG, pistol, ammo packs, nades, body armor Sniper: sniper rifle, silenced pistol, nades, claymores Engineer: Shotgun, pistol, wrench, mines, nades (unlock has an SMG) I honestly think this was the best setup. A few more dedicated classes that can be tuned to a role rather than mix and match classes. Add perks and a small variety of customizeable unlocks for each class specifically. That said it ain't happening, DICE seems to like the ARME 4 class setup

I remember the golden age of BF2 where on Gulf of Oman I would spawn as a Special Forces on the Aircraft carrier, jump into a jet and parachute off into the enemy Mec Airbase. I would stealthy sneak around plant a C4 charge on the enemy jets and hide. I would watch someone spawn and fly off into the distance and BOOM! Hilarity ensures and everyone that is spawning at the base start going nuts trying to locate the special forces op. I simply would jump into one of their APCs and escape. What I find really lacking in the Bad Company series is that they have really dumbed it down for consoles and it doesn't have that epic 32v32 war going on. Added to that is the lack of vehicles and it feels like a generic FPS. If I wanted to just play straight infantry I would play CoD or even CS. There's no real Squad Cohesion and no commmand structure, who remember the days when it felt like you were playing a RTS when you were the commander dropping supplies, scanning UAVs and raining artillery? Imagine this with frostbite: I really hope that Battlefield 3 lives up to expectations and it has that sense of grand epic warfare on a large scale that we've known and love since 1942.
