Worth to note also that SkyRe hasn't been updated for about a year and will not be, so any bugs left you just have to deal with, and there's a lot of those in just spells and perks.

The entire left side of the Conjuration tree is a huge pitfall, going from perks breaking your summon spells from summoning anything to killing you on cast. If you plan to use atronach/dremora summons, I suggest you console yourself the 2nd last perk in that line and only that. The last perk points makes casting archer/caster variant of dremora lord a suicide spell if you do not have a human heart, while the footman version works as before. The perks before the 2nd last will break your various summon spells, so you may find that none of your atronach or dremora summon spells do anything.

Similar bugs in several of the magic trees, illusion dual casting doesn't infact make your illusions work on undead/machines, perk to unlock secondary effects to your iron skin spells does nothing (tested with console player.getavinfo XXX) and possibly many more I haven't ran into so far. What I did run into is that if you get the wayfarer perks to be able to pickup and deploy bear traps, then any hostile actor that steps into a trap you've deployed instantly crashes you to desktop without error messages.

So while SkyRe is great, there's still a lot of problems that are unlikely ever going to get fixed as the mod author has moved on to other projects.

Does this mean, it is still the best overhaul/experience you can get gameplay wise in skyrim or is there something equal and less buggy/more reliable?

I haven't used SkyRe (perhaps I will in the future). I thought vanilla skyrim was pretty close to good so I went with smaller changes; mainly I use a combination of ACE, Minimalist Magic Overhaul (since ACE doesn't really do much to magic), and Duel, plus the mastery perk changes from Mastery of Magicka. This leads to something that still genuinely feels like vanilla skyrim but without stuff like super OP vanilla smithing/enchanting and does an okay job of fixing some of the problems with magic.

This should be more generally compatible with other mods than SkyRe in my understanding. For one thing the changes are not as large, and ACE and MMO are both modular (yes I know SkyRe is also) so you can disable conflicting parts (or just disable parts you don't like). I don't know of any important bugs with these mods* but I haven't looked that hard either.

*ACE alchemy makes restore health/magicka/stamina potions that you craft pretty much worthless but I'm not sure if this is a bug. I changed this on my copy by changing all the ingredients to use the heal over time effects it applies to the vanilla healing potions and tweaking magnitudes so that you get potions that are worth using.

I'm certainly not claiming this is better than SkyRe (I wouldn't know!) but I have fun with these mods.

Yes even with the bugs, SkyRe is still pretty much the best overhaul. You can make your game whatever you want if you take it in smaller pieces one at a time, but if you simply want someone's take in bigger strides, SkyRe is probably the thing. Or Requiem, but I'm not sure if that's even been updated to Dragonborn.

This mod is amazing. It offers a lot of customization options to get exactly the kind of lighting you want, and the best thing about it is that you can use it on any other DirectX game by just copying the files over.

I've been using it to tweak the graphics settings in like 90% of the games since I've found it.

I once used it to make Skyrim look like Borderlands, but it kind of messes with the text, making it unreadable. ._.

Well i need help.

I've got a few mods installed, everything works except the weapon plugins such as (jaysus swords, unique uniques and others).
I use skyre, boss and reproccer to make things right.
But i can't find anything from jaysus swords in the forge, anyone know? Been looking for an hour now :/
Plus the weapong plugins all have been installed flawlessly_

EDIT: gonna install and reinstall skyrim fuck this shit :/

If you're using NMM, I recommend switching to Mod Organizer to help prevent these sorts of issues. You can find my post about it here. It's somewhat more complicated to use at first, but it's much better than NMM for resolving mod conflicts and retaining a clean Skyrim directory.

So i made a clean install. Installed unoffical patches for the game/dlc/textures. Installed SkyRe and JaysusSword. Guess what, not working? Yeah. Really.

I installed Jaysus from here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26230/? . And yes Jswords.esm is enabled it's esm and not esp btw. Help please :D

EDIT: I aswell added this line in my skyrimprefs.ini bEnableFileSelection=1 under launcher, still nothing is happenning_

Try this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29375/? It's a series of SkyRe compatibility patches packaged into a single mod, so you can pick and choose what you need. JaySuS's Swords is one of the mods with an included patch. Let me know if that helps.

Also, apparently I got attacked by some hired thugs. Took me a lot of effort to kill them, and I found a contract that says Orgnar hired them. By accident, I actually found this Orgnar guy, but is there some way I can confront him about the contract he signed to kill me?

There is a small chance for a person whom you have stolen from to hire thugs to take you down. Orgnar isn't a specific character to do this; you just happened to steal his stuff and trigger the thugs. This has absolutely no effect on future interactions with the person, though, so I would advise against killing him if you have qualms about doing so.



But I can't throw that contract on his face and demand gold or w/e from him?

Nope. There really ought to have been an option to do that, though.
