Hm, I have dialogue synch problems here too even when not alt-tabbing. For instance, during the intro when the dragon attacks, imperial commander says something along the lines of "What was that? Soldiers, what's that there in the clouds?" whilst the dragon is already sitting on top of a tower like 10 meters away. 1-2 second pauses also occur from time to time. It's little more than minor annoyance though.

Also, are there any quest lines other than main quest line, dark brotherhood, companions, thieves guild, civil war, and bards? Or any single quests that are actually meaningful, rather than just randomly clearing out dungoens because some family left their heirloom there? Game is kind of becoming boring...
If you havent done all the Daedric quests do them. They are all independent of each other but some of the better quests in the game.

Don't forget mage's college, but like the guy above I also recommend daedric quests.

But think about it, how does that fit into that playstyle? Moreover, how is that balanced? Dual Wield is supposed to be sacrificing massive defensive ability you get with a shield for an abnormal amount of DPS. I mean, when you get all the dual wield perks -- you drop peoples so fucking fast it's a joke. However, NO damage mitigation whatsoever makes it underpowered. I think a good mix is the dodge mechanic in that mod. Takes skill to avoid damage, but still makes straight up blocking with a shield better.

If you disliked Skyrim then you DEFINITELY won't find what you're looking for in Rage. Rage was such a letdown I almost feel bad you wasted your money on it. edit: If you took it back that means you probably didn't get very deep into the game at all, and its pretty hard to judge Skyrim before you progress your character far enough to get the perks that change gameplay immensely. Honestly, your post makes it sound like you bought the game, made it to Whiterun, helped a few people and then decided the game was shit so you returned it for an even worse game. haha yeah i did, i got a bounty on me in like everytown and didnt know how to get it off... plus the 10 second load times for entering a single house got really frustrating. but rage is incredibly fun for me, tbh i just wanted something to pass the time while im getting my computer fixed. peace -

The console... that's where! Seriously, you need like 20 bars to make an Ebony/Daedric set, and I don't rember seeing more than 2 or 3 Ebony ore/ingots in 2 play throughs. Is it all in one spot? You can buy them from any smith, you have way too much gold anyway. You can find them in the gloombound mine aswell
You will find several of them in the daedric shrine you open with the mehrunes razer questline (also deadric hearts).
I foudn several of them in chests with the treasure hunter perks as soon as lvl 15ish and the other thing is the gloombound mine.
Some smiths will start carrying them as you level up but the general goods traders will have them sooner in much smaller quantity (usually 1 ore or 1 ingot at a time).
Your best best is probably to make dragon armor (easier to get a hold on than deadric hearts) and then build your deadric set as you go.

According to reviews, it isn't quite functional yet so I would let it go for the time being.

Why do I care if it's balanced? It's a single-player game .__.

And singleplayer games stop being fun when everything is overpowered as fuck ._.
Builds should be powerful in their own ways, making dual wield able to block would just make it boring to play as it would be so strong. If I wanted to wreck everything indiscriminately, I would just type "tgm" into the console

Will try, thanks for the link

I'm just trying to figure out how the levelling works before I manage to screw up this build.
Alchemist- The alchemist perk allows for an increase in potency of the created potion (by 80%)
Is this offset by the benefactor perk, which states that "potions you mix with beneficial effects have an additional 25% greater magnitude"?
Or will the 25% be added onto the already increased 80%?
(Just using these perks as examples)

I can't get over this game! So much funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Just hit level 36 today :D

battle of Whiterun-1 my poor old computer-0
After about 5 tries I'm thinking that I might have to go back a few saves and not join the stormcloaks. Every time I try to enter the city (through the gates) it goes to a loading screen that doesn't go away Ah well

(Just using these perks as examples) The first multiplies magnitude by 1.8, the second by 1.25, 1.80*1.25=2.25 total.
I suggest getting some alchemy gear too to really boost your potions.

I could get an amulet or ring... but I don't plan on going too hardcore on it. I'm making a BattleMage this time through Just put some left over points into alchemy

All these cocky people on here who say the game is too easy on master...how do you "easily" beat the dragon priests without abusing the game???

Played more than 20 hours for the last 2 days, once you really get going you can't stop. I have actually took a break for some time now because of frustrations, but updated some mods, installed SkyUI and damn, the game is so much better now.
I get huge stutters in WhiteRun though, got Skyrim 2k HD and Realistic Water, maybe they're related I dunno.
