Its all about the level. I found the game challenging on Adept from Level1-10 or something, but after you get good Armor and Smithing/Enchanting up, the Game gets pretty easy, especially because you outlevel most of the Mobs. For example I got a Ring and a Necklace with +40% One-Hand DMG. I play on Master and anything from bosses are EZPZ. For bosses I use some Pots and its not that hard.

But I don't know, maybe its all about the stats. Try some magic-resistance pots/enchants.

It depends what you call abusing if you are archer or conjurer hes really ez Your flame atronauch is immune to his damage will solo him eventually. haha. Sneak archer I just shot from far off and doge fireballs Edit: When people say its easy they dont mean that you can just straight up hack everything down. I'm level 38 on Adept with level 70 one handed+level 50 heavy armor+daedric everything and the dragon priest was literally impossible for me...was I doing something wrong lol Edit: Morokai Dragon Priests are the toughest mobs you can find in the game besides the damage of giants. With these monsters, you want to either burst the shit out of it (dual wield perks, berserker rage, damage potions...), summoning a fat creature to zap it safely such as an atronach or using high stealth with perks to kill it with critical/sneak arrows.

Armor, even Dragonscale, doesn´t do anything against magic damage, so make sure to throw in some resistance gear, and/or get magic resistance from the alteration perks and the Mara quest. Block might be another way to go, one of the perks give 50% resist against most types of magic damage while blocking, which should be enough to get into melee.

+ Show Spoiler + Man, that place called Alftand+Blackreach part where you need to go for the "Discerning the Transmundane" quest took a SHITTON of time. I probably spent 4-5 hours on that place, hunting for Crimson Nirnroots(was a pain in the ass, that area was hugeeee) and where actually Septimus Signus wanted me to go. When it all ended tho, I had 5 Black Soul Gems, around 11 Grand Soul Gems and bunch of other soul gems. I was ready to give me an enchanting boost. Ended up with around 215 more Magicka and -94% spell cost in Destruction. I also enchanted my follower's gear (Mjoll from Riften). She now has full Ebony Armor with a Daedric Sword with lightning+frost damage, and all his other gear enchanted with extra blocking, magic resistance, one handed damage, +health and heavy armor. She is much more sturdy now. Tried to find a deadric set but I am guessing I'm not high enough. Oh, and I'm not a blacksmith, it's not a profession for teh mages imo. At the moment I'm level 44. Enchanting is 100 and Alchemy is 83. God it levels SOO slowly. Unfortunately, guess I didn't optimize enough (and I didn't know the All spells cost -X% enchanting either, so gave me a boost in Destruction cost reduction [not sure all costs -X% bonus actually exists, but I'm sure the Archmage Robes have that.] My next character will be Shield+One Handed supported by Restoration and perhaps Alteration(not sure though). He's gonna be enchanting and Smithing. Kinda excited for that! Also, does anyone know how I can make sure Mjoll always uses her weapon+shield instead of the annoying bows?

I think you'd actually need to mod that since the bow is some kind of standard weapon that doesn't appear in their inventory. Look for some mods I guess :/.

Massive spoilers all around below: + Show Spoiler + - Male, Breton (+25 magic resistance definitely good) - Got the 'Magicka Sabers' mod from Skyrim Nexus (hint: lightsabers!) - Another full round of 9000 iron daggers for max smithing - Thieves Guild questline ASAP for the Nightingale armor set, toyed around with different retexture for the set but then for now, sticking with the vanilla set - One-hand based, dual-wielding like a BOSS - Perk trees: smithing (up to daedric for the sabers), one-hand (screw 2-hand, dual wielding lightsabers FTW), light armor, illusion (on occassions, 1h + invisibility helps), sneak - Kill everything but not everything? As in, choose quest paths for maximum slaughter (like killing the EMPEROR then taking the optional kills along the way as well) but then no need to randomly slash up herpaderp city guards complaining about his knee... oh yeah must do the Dark Brotherhood because it's a fkin DARK Jedi (I refuse to call myself a Sith) - Use Unrelenting FORCE very liberally - No follower, for I must walk the path alone! - So far, it's not too bad on Expert (a couple of deaths) but on Master, much too fragile x_x; I guess the force isn't so strong with me... ... I think I should restart as a Sith, LOL (1h lightsaber + destruction-lightning)

Master enchanting is too OP, because every item can be enchanted twice. The advantage gained far outweighs anything any other skill tree can offer. For example as a mage you can enchant yourself so you are able to cast close to infinity destruction spells. As melee or bow you can enchant yourself to ridicilous amounts of damage, and if you got smithing too you can work your weapons to stack that damage even further. Combine that with resist enchants and you find that master difficulty is easy mode.

As a mage, I simply dodged ranged attacks of all types, which is how I beat Morokei at lvl 20 or so in mage robes on Master. For defense against magic, get elemental protection under Block or Spellbreaker from the Peryite daedric quest. It's basically unrivaled by any other shield. I just beat the main story, and I still have no magic resist or armor, only alteration for armor and magic absorb. (allthough you can with smithing\emchanting ![]() Cocky? No, with a bit of practice and a good amount of experience in computer games, it's fairly easy to do what needs to be done to win any battle. Your reaction depends heavily on your playstyle as well...I chose to be a mage because it's the most flexible playstyle. I hate conjuring minions to absorb damage for you, so I avoided that...when I was level 12 I was passing through Shearpoint and killed the dragon there, only to run into Krosis, who carries a staff of fireballs. Despite all my dodging, it took a long time to kill him and I ran out of magicka almost immediately, forcing me to use a bow while trying to dodge his fireballs which took out half my health with a single hit. Also, I gotta say, I was highly disappointed at the last boss. Every random Draugr Deathlord made for a scarier fight.

I didn't even know you could get a freaking conjured bow until last night, such a great idea! :D "Y U" so rare daedric arrows! Actually...it seems that the bound bow (with mystic binding) does 24 base damage while the daedric does 19...O_O. Also, the conjured arrows are of daedric quality.
