Are you talking about the cave near the Sleeping Tree? God, that giant either has the forearms of a T-Rex, or is clinically retarded.

It feels like there is no point in exploring cause all the top gear is just crafted anyway

Any suggestions what would be hardest way to play this game? My main char is a mage. Try the following: -Master difficulty, obviously -Don't craft gear -Minimize fast traveling -Don't quicksave, and press tab to autosave periodically while traversing open ground. -Don't use armor as a mage, wear robes of some kind and use alteration to provide armor. -No perk points into the crafting trees (Alchemy, enchanting, smithing). For reference, daedric gear starts appearing in the game around lvl 47, and if you craft daedric armor/weapons before that, the game is easier than it should be. -Minimize use of quest markers (some quests don't explicitly tell you where to go and require you to use the marker to know, even though the destination is not supposed to be a secret) -No followers, including conjured followers -Get the deadly dragons mod here. -There are other balance/difficulty mods out there. Someone recently posted about mods called PISE and duke's combat mod, which make combat much more fun. I was unable to locate duke's combat mod. Despite all of the above limitations (minus the mods, I don't have those yet) the game is still quite easy. I had a bit of trouble with ice wolves, snow bears, and snowy sabertooths at low levels, but now ancient dragons are the only issue (they one-hit me, I have magic absorb instead of resist and that doesn't work on dragon breath for some reason). All enemies that scaled beyond level 20 can kill me in two to three hits. If I don't have ebonyflesh on, random archers can one hit kill me. Try this and let me know how challenging it is :D

In Enthir's case, he will always have them in stock, which makes him a lot more reliable than, say, Arcadia's Cauldron or The White Phial. I probably should have worded that better. The guy named Enthir at the college of winterhold has randomized alchemy items. At least in my game.

Personally, though, I'm pretty much always rolling in gold, so if you have the coin for it, Enthir in Winterhold sells two Daedric Hearts (among other expensive items) after you convince him to do business with you. What makes him ideal for this over other merchants is his reliability. Unlike generic Alchemy merchants, he will always have Hearts, and restocks them in two day's time. So if you have a lot of septims, and need a lot of Hearts, just buy them from him, use the Wait command for 24 hours twice, and repeat. Thank you! :D Nice tip on the hearts, gonna go over there later and get four more to finish off the Daedric weapons. Oh did you guys ever have a problem with your stuff dissapearing if you stored it at a wifes "first" home? I married that Nord miner chick North of Riften and I lost all my Thieves armor stuff along with a ton of jewels and quite a few dragon bones, I assumed it saved my stuff there since it saves it at my home in White Run. XD I plan on killing her soon anyways to marry Aela, Syljga just wears that pickaxe to bed to often. lol Oh and I read that using any console commands can cause bugs in the game, was that just some dumb internet talk or is there some of them I should steer clear of? (haven't used any yet but you never know)

Then my 2nd play i made a guy with smithing.... OMG the game is easy when you do that.

I made it to lvl 74, and I use magic half the time while using bow or sword/shield the other half of the time. Without armor. I went up to 500 hp and put the rest into magicka. Here's my perk build: IGN Perk Builder Link for duke's combat mod please?

I would not use the mod though since it makes blocking super powerful. Here some must have mods: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4387 makes your game run faster http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3863 Good ui http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1269 does lots of good things like WAY better loot, smarter enemies... http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3829 stronger/more rewarding dragons on top of those there are some more optional mods i use like http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1094 just for the "less linear leveling to level 100" so you you gain level at a more balanced rate. In vanilla you level up so fast at start you basicly start with lvl 20 and at lvl 40 and higher it becomes very slow. (edit: this leveling mod scews with your save game character so start a new one if u want this mod) On top o got "balanced magic" and "midas magic" mods just to make magic more fun. Oh, this one for nicer looking water http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=711 good night TL PS: i once tried to play a mage. Went without enchant and no light/heavy armor and i got destroyed so hard it made me stop playing him. I was 100hp 300 mana mage who would conjur his fire demon girl, but when a single arrow could drop me to 5% it got maddening. Even worse how can you use destruction magic without abusing the famous -100% spellcast enchantments? When i shot some fire/ice bolts i did run out of mana after 1-2 enemies. After i finished the main Quest with my warrior i sure as hell will try to get a mage though the mage quests again ! Late entry mod: better looking blood http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=60#content

I say, the achievements for pickpocket/lockpicking, 1000 bounty everywhere, and escaping from jail work quite nicely together. Also, I have yet to return the Thieve's Guild back to its full glory. In time, I will finish up these achievements. Then I will take a Skyrim break to focus on school/SC2, though I plan on later doing a sneak character on Masters.
