Should I buy Skyrim now so I can play during the rest of my break, or just save my money and get a gtx 560 ti later on?

Should be fine on medium at least but you could use a better graphics card. You should get it now. Skyrim requires some kind of break. Trust me. edit. Get Skyrim I mean.

I just don't like the simplifications they made with the character building. Oblivion's system was simply better and more "RPG". Another thing I don't like is the inventory. Again it just doesn't look like something from an RPG. Still, it has been a great experience so far. I went up to lvl 20+ with my unoriginal destruction/conjuration/alteration build but that got boring and the game felt a bit easy on expert (shoulda tried master but I was looking for the right balance between challenge and enjoyability, didn't find it I guess). Mages guild quest line was sort of dissapointing. Thieves guild looked promising but then I decided to start a new character. Now I'm a Wood Elf specializing in sneak/archery/(pickpocket)/(light armor). So now I'm finding out (not in game but in the forums) that sneak gets really imba really fast? It was kind of the same in oblivion too. Sneaking + archery + that illusion spell "ghostwalk" was preeetty imba. There is an invisibility spell in Skyrim too, haven't ran into it yet (and I never read walkthroughs or guides). Also, I think I found a glitch (has probably been mentioned already but whatever): That illusion spell that muffles you seems to be exploitable in leveling. My illusion lvled up really fast while casting it with my mage character and it didn't seem to slow down that much either. I went up 5 lvls of illusion + 1 character lvl in less than 5 minutes while spamming it (I was able to cast repeatedly since I had arch mage's robes and the morokei). So if I'm feeling abusive I might lvl up my illusion with the sneak archer and become invinsible. Tho it might cost too much magicka to cast. Now back to Skyrim. Haven't had this much fun gaming in almost 5 years. Played a sneak archer in both Oblivion and Skyrim, it's pretty easy going yeah (esp in Oblivion with Nocturnal's Cowl lol) Also, maybe this is something for you, a mod that changes the inventory more like Oblivion one: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3863 ![]()

Also I haven't been following lately, but if there's some mod to nerf enchanting/smithing/conjuation install it too. I think there's one to make dragons harder as well!

Yeah, it might be a nice feature, but arrows aren't exactly in short supply; Skyrim's enemies, treasure chests, and shopkeepers practically throw arrows at you. And you can always head to Castle Dour, the Riften Cistern, or any other locations with archers shooting at targets, and pocket the arrows they shoot.

And also I think you need to lvl up smithing to craft high lvl arrows, which I don't (can't tell, im starting over with a new character with this mod)

Yeah, if that's what you meant, I think I can get behind that idea. I totally misunderstood what you were saying. ![]()

Dukes combat overhaul. which when combined with PISE makes combat FUN as hell. XSO which is a script dragon sort of thing i LOVE it. makes ALOT of values of the game much better. can change hp/mp/stamina regen run speed LOTS of things then i got this TESVAL which is run through SKSE which makes the game run MUCH FASTER (+10 fps for me when looking down whiterun) by removing CPU bottlenecks that happen due to some shitty code by bethesda SKYUI which is a 1000000000% better interface for inventory then vanilla. this is also run through SKSE i have darker nights and bright skys which comes with PISE, as well as a shadow injector mod which mainly effects dungeons for me and makes night time travel very dangorous (i fought a dragon at night once.....never again) it also makes the deep caves so dark you NEED a torch to see what items are on the floor. it does so without doing the stupid 100000% saturation shit like alot of mods do. i used to have many crafting mods but i decided to remove them because i was happy with the current mods i got now.
