The best I could do was hide behind a pillar and take potshots and him and his illusions with a bow. It was even worse in the finale of that dungeon where he spawns like 3 or 4 total illusions. EDIT - but really, abusing the terrain where you can is the best way to beat these 1-shot happy bosses.

You mean the man who works at Warmaiden? Isn't his inventory/gold tied to the woman working at the forge? I know that in another city, the blacksmith and general store lady are married, so if you sell to one the other won't have any gold left over.

Does using them on one char affect my ability to get achivements with my non-cheated character? I wanted to see how strong I could get dragonsbane with player.modav Smithing 100 (got it to 76 base dmg lol). Will my other char be fine?

Considering people modded morroblivion, I wouldn't be surprised if they put in a bunch of the lane from the two games expecting some way down the road someone to do the same. They put out the creation kit, and the console commands for a reason. They can't fix everything, they can't mod everything, so they make it so other people can do it for them.

Do this repeatedly until you run out of mana, then wait for an hour to refill mana and do it again. And again. And again. And again.

Otherwise yeah, just spam ![]() On November 24 2011 13:54 Steemer wrote: Summon an ice atronach, kill it with fire. Doing the college of winterhold quests give you items that have a total of +200% magicka regen o_o On November 24 2011 12:29 On_Slaught wrote: Question about console commands: Does using them on one char affect my ability to get achivements with my non-cheated character? I had a separate save file that I set aside to try out godmode / max leveled stuff, I've still gotten achievements. Also, I modified my character look in my current save file and still have gotten achievements with that save.

Well, the real reasoning for it being in there is so that Skyrim doesn't appear as its own landmass. Since Skyrim is the highest area in Tamriel, they didn't want it to just be empty around the edges of the map if you got into an area where you could look beyond Skyrim itself. Doesn't mean it can't be utilized in the future, though.

I don't think that explains why the imperial city from Oblivion is there.... you definitely can't see it from the southernmost edge of the map.

On a side note, does anyone know where I can find cool looking mage robes that are unenchanted? Especially those hooded ones.

Pretty much what he said... and yes, the Gauldue finale was one of the most annoying fights of the entire game imo >.<

I fought with him at a pretty mediocre level (20s-30s I think), but didn't have too much trouble once I got the hang of it. I even had to do it twice because one time he disarmed my sword and it disappeared (I spent 10 minutes looking for it). If you're in the air, or I believe not moving his shout won't knock you down. + Show Spoiler [General Tips] + So to take advantage of that my strategy was to run to one of the two platforms in the middle when he teleports away. This way the platform you are on won't get a new spawn (the archers in the middle are the most deadly). Once he warps in him + illusions jump off the platform. While in the air try to figure out which one is him then run to that platform and hack/blast away at him.

+ Show Spoiler + After you kill Alduin and get back from Sovngarde, I love all the dragons that wait at the throat of the world and how they start yelling :O
