Killing a mammoth solely with lightning walls gets you roughly 2 levels of destruction at 80 and on master difficulty.

Is it safe to store my stuff in the Companions living quarters (say the dressers?)

I stored all my dragon bones in a barrel.
I came back a while later, everything was replaced by 5 tomato's.
GET A HOUSE.

LOL. Take the tomato's and drop them on the ground. That'll show them!

Lol I stored a bit of stuff in a dead dragon before teleporting to my house and back to free up space. When I got back, dragon was gone.
Needless to say all the goats and rabbits in the area were slaughtered in anger

(You only need like 14 to craft a full set + refine it I think) Still... always sucks to lose 'em like that on pinciple I suppose

Yeah, I don't even bother with dragon bones/scales anymore, I just pick up the gold and the dragon soul. Besides daedric items are better, and eventually if I need money I can just craft some potions/enchanted items to generate income.

my standard place besides a house/archmage room/etc to store stuff
is the chest thats in front of you when you quick travel to the greybeards

woot got dota invites so i traded them for skyrim :O!
now i get to battle dragons in between shooting down jETS

Am I stupid or can't I go from the light armor perk route through dragon armor to daedric smithing? I want a daedric bow for my archer...
I have dragon smithing but the perk for daedric smithing is grey (not blue for available).

Ya you can't go back down the other side. I had same exact problem and had to spend 4 perks points to get my Daedric Bow. qq

Sounds like this is a problem.....
FOR MODS!
Seriously, this game wastes too many points on perks I don't want and wish I could skip.

Is it worth buying more than 1 house? Or should I hold off until I'm stupid rich? I only have the whiterun one atm, cause I spent my first 5k. I'm sitting on like 10k but I really wanna use it to buy more iron ingots and max smithing.

Killed a dragon in rivertown(?) at the start of the game (first 10~ hours) it was still there after 50~ hours, but I put some loot in a fresh dragon kill, placed the bones in the barrel (; and when i went back to the fresh dragon it was gone. But the one in rivertown still exists.
Really ; ;

The only reason to buy extra houses is to sink otherwise worthless money. It obviously has no practical purpose. Some of the other ones have some cool features though. Namely nice ways to display weapons/armor. I have 4 with all decor and still have over 120k. It gets to a point where there is nothing to do with your money.
Edit: Unless someone else has found something cool to do with lots of money? Plz tell if so. Doesn't have to be practical, obviously at this point I am just doing stuff for the cool factor.

Do different ones have other stuff instead of, say, alchemy lab at whiterun?
