Also, which is the best? Mace, One-H axe or sword? I love axes the most, but the mace does so much dmg, just slow.
Two handed guys are very easy to abuse. Whenever he does a power attack move backwards slightly and wind up your own forward powerattack. If you time it properly you should jump into him and bash his skull in just after he misses you. Lather rinse repeat until you've killed him.
The armor ignore from maces is the best perk in my opinion.

Use Unrelenting Force to stagger him? 1h power attacks are supposed to break a block iirc.
RPing this game is awesome. I dropped my archery/sneak/lockpick/enchant/conjuration imba char for a more limited wood elf druid 2h/block/resto/alte unarmored potionphobic that can only feed on raw meat. I cannot spec in any of the unlisted trees. I recommend imposing oneself limitations as it makes the game more challenging and enjoyable.

I am really getting tired by casting Alteration armor spells every 2 minutes and the restoration armor spell is useless for pure mage as it takes one hand away from offensive spells.
With really high enchanting you could make an armored mage, although I'd suggest heavy armor if you plan to spend points in the armor skill, otherwise light armor would probably be better if you don't plan to put any talents into it.
Likewise, you can stick some points into Alteration and get double casting + the one that increases the effectiveness of your buffs when unarmored and be functionally similar to that.

Thats strange... try to load older save and try again
I'm doing the Mehrune blade quest and everytime I do these God quests, they always want me to kill someone, Jesus/
deadra arent gods really, just beings from an alien dimension where things work differently. They arent evil really, but they have a completely different mentality that mostly is very chaotic, which results in death of mortals.

what
they are from another plane of existence, but they're still gods
the dividing line between the aedra and daedra was a split over whether or not to create the mortal plane
that's why the daedra have no respect for humanity, because they didn't think they deserved to be created in the first place, and took no part in their creation
That is incredibly hype. If they DLC Morrowind and Cyrodiil h o l y s h i t. It's a bit of a tall order - but it would be insanely amazing.
they did say some stuff about being able to revist cyrodill in skyrim, just not in the way you think
i figured all that really meant was you'd be able to hit the northern border of cyrodill where cloud ruler temple and bruma are, but a cyrodill dlc would be pretty radical
or this could just be a giant easter egg. in oblivion they filled out the outer bounds of the map in the same way for miles and miles, so instead of randomly generate stuff to fill it in with, it might have just been easier to use oblivion's map
Still can't find the dark brotherhood I got attacked by one of their assassins on a save, reloaded, and it happened again, reloaded, and it didn't happen (she killed me the first two times). Went to see some emo kid and he just asked me to kill his mother, not sure if DB or not.
I realised that I probably have to go and kill this woman to start the guildline, still not sure about the assassin though.

Finishing the companions quest right now and so far, I'm enjoying the game quite a lot. I'm pretty much spending all my free time since release on it and I feel like I've barely done like 5% of the game. I'm afraid I'm never gonna be able to finish it Seems like my second playthrough as a mage is gonna wait till next year.
The only thing that I find a bit disappointed so far are the fights. In my opinion, they lack some sort of strategic depth. I hate bows and sneaky stuff so that leaves me with warrior and mage. Tried warrior and it's pretty much: hit shit, heal, hit more, run around to regen, heal, repeat... (playing on hard) Without even mentioning BG2, Dark Souls that I'm also playing right now is at least as "simple" gameplay wise but introduce a ton more strategy in the fights.
The game is still great but I wish the fights were a bit better.

I would get a shield. You don't need healing 24/7, you can't swing while casting anyway.
On weapons: If you want to take a look at perks (assuming the weapons have the same dps without perks), I'd go with either sword or mace. Swords are somewhat RNG, but EVERYTHING can get crit. Maces are good vs heavy armored (which includes mages with armor spells). Not everything can bleed afaik so axes would be less good. But honestly, go with whichever looks/feels best. The game doesn't require you to min max.
Question of my own:
If I want to make use of Invisibilty + Muffle as an escape, do I need to get the Illusion perks to make Illusion spells work against undead, people, ... Or does that only apply for spells like Calm?
