Hollow triangle superscripted to the right -- best weapon of its category in your inventory currently
Solid sideways triangle to the left of the item -- its on your favourites list.

Why are bears so incredibly brutal in this game? T_T

That's how elder scrolls work bro ^^

well atleast there are like 80+ voice actors in this game(heard this in some"the making of skyrim videos"), in oblivion there was literally i think 12 voice actors.

you dont have to kite or fear any bears on master as mage... just get Impact perk and dualcast, and alteration is overpower 300 defense, 30% spell resist for like 3 min...
|
Unsaintly it was worse in oblivion, one voice actor per gender per race.
At least you have /some/ variation now, albeit very little. ( more special voices for old people and young people as an example.)
anyways for those who dislike followers I think being a stealthy mage might be beneficial, as a melee character you'll get ripped to shreds early on in the game.

destruction is at 39, next level i'll have it @_@
i'm probably over-leveled for where my combat abilities are. i've been struggling in combat a lot the past few days, because my alchemy is already at 50 but my combat skills are all 30-40
i have a lot of problem with bears because they like to blindside you. one of my favorite things to do in elder scrolls is climb mountains, and they tend to hang out in areas on mountains you wouldn't expect creatures to spawn

Wow I have tried all the fixes for the laggy mouse thing and it still is like that... this game has been rage enducing for the past 3 hours.

Your problem is going up mountains in the first place. Harder enemies tend to be at higher elevation ice bears/ice sabre cats/frost trolls for example are all much harder than their non snowy counterparts. Follow the road and you won't have as many problems ^_^

Actually it's not the favorite thing. It's like an empty triangle on random pieces of armor and weapons.

I'm 99.99% sure he's taking about the triangle to the right of certain equipment, which indicates that it has the highest offensive or defensive power (ignoring all enchantments) within that class (i.e., it will indicate your strongest mace, sword, axe, bow, dagger, shield, head, body, hands, feet, etc. equipment). Not very useful once you've gotten used to your inventory layout, but helpful at times for quick comparisons.
On a somewhat related note, I find myself really enjoying the UI. I know that plenty of people have complained about it, and even I whined a bit about it being an obvious console port, but it actually feels really smooth after getting used to it. Not having to leave WASD is an awesome thing.

Holy Shit that video had me crying with laughter, I love the glitchy things that happen sometimes in Elder Scrolls games. On a side note I'm loving playing as a thief style class. Putting frenzy poison into random townspeoples pockets and watching them just fight everyone haha.
Also I came across the Shearpoint Dragon Shrine, and there is a Dragon Priest there, does anyone have tips on how to kill them? He just kites me with fireballs and doesn't take any damage from my bow, and I can't close the distance to hit him in combat. Thx

burn him out of mana by dodging, he will still cast, but he wont cast the instakill giant fireballs, and then stay far enough away from his aoe dot cloak thing, but really close, like melee range
