Also if you equip glass armor and dwarven gloves and rotate the camera around you can see through where you elbows should be. Thing like this really killed the immersion for me.
yeah i have that too, but you are in first person 99% of the time so it doesnt really matter. not pretty but nothing major either

I'm already doing this, but I'm looking for other options. I can walk up and one shot them with a sneak attack ^_^ Also, Maces are the way to go in my opinion. The ignore armor is very great for killing big boss mobs. The problem with mages is gap closing, not actual damage output so unless you move faster with a sword I don't think it really matters ^_^ Once you get next to the mage it's fairly simple to stagger them and beat them to death. invisibility is hard to get ahold of i find, except for nirnroot, which is comically easy to get in skyrim
it's possible that i just haven't discovered any cheap ingredients that make invisibility yet, though. everything else i know of currently for invis, costs 100+ to buy at an alchemy shop
seems cheaper to open the fight with a damage magicka poison into some lightning spells

The way I fixed it was this: * go and get the unpacker tool. * use it to extract 'VoicesExtra.bsa' from somewhere in your Skyrim install dir to /data folder (should auto create /sound folder in there)

the quest at the college to cleanse the focal points.
i either have a bug and CANNOT cleanse them (initially it let me e to cleanse and did nothing, and then just...no option or anything) or i'm really fucking dumb.

Coin in this game is ridiculously easy to obtain. If the ingredients costed 1000 each I'd still make invisibility potions because they are better.

Got a bugged quest =( Companions want me to intimidate some fag in Solitude. The problem is he stays on that ship and when I enter he's like "You're not supposed to be here!" and ends the dialogue. I've been camping outside the ship for 3 days now and he just won't come out. Curse you game for trying to keep me away from making Aela my wife!

Just farm the daedric shrines when they respawn. You get a heart every kill. It does take some time but they replenish unlike dragons.

Since they're not tied down to any one place they are harder to find though. (Although they seem to appear more frequently near the dragon stone things)

And as a reminder to ya'll can you spoiler everything quest related, including asking for help? Reading alot about quests/questlines that I haven't gotten to yet.

A lot of quests are dynamic. That means you'll only get a general outline of it. I got to intimidate a person in Solitude. When you do it, you might get a person in riften or whiterun itself. A lot of quests are like this.

Yes, but people have just been talking specifically about quests in the mage college line, or main quest, etc., which aren't dynamic. I've managed to avoid it so far by not reading as soon as I see "in such and such quest...", but spoilers would be preferable.

Yes. He just changes the places where he sits. At night he goes to the lower deck and during daytime he just sits at a table near the door but never comes out.

Weird, I had to talk to that guy for a random quest and jumped on his ship and everything, and he didn't care. I wonder if he's saying that cause of your affiliation? For example he's a nord and I'm a Nord so we're cool, but I joined the Stormcloaks and afterwards discovered an Imperial camp, where everyone said the same thing to me.

Which specialization did you pick? I've been torn between sword and mace. I am playing a paladin type so i use a 1h and a shield. I'm liking mace and the specialization for it ignores armor. That seems better than sword. I dunno. Any thoughts on the matter would be awesome. Axes because they are badass, and the bleed stops regen like trolls have. Well I was thinking axes but is the bleed effect really that great? Also I was leaning mace b/c of the feel it gave to the pally type that i was trying to play. I'm not opposed to any of the 3 and I'll use whichever is better up till i pick one of the specializations. Go for the swords route and get Dawnbreaker, which is basically the ultimate Paladin weapon. It deals 10 fire damage on hit, and when killing an undead has a certain chance to cause it to explode into flames, turning or destroying nearby undead. It owns. And it shines.
