I wonder if he's saying that cause of your affiliation? For example he's a nord and I'm a Nord so we're cool, but I joined the Stormcloaks and afterwards discovered an Imperial camp, where everyone said the same thing to me. At the start of the game I escaped with the imperial guy. But I haven't signed up nor do I plan to. Stormcloaks are out of the question too. I'm only afflicted with the Companions.

Also, it really just feels like a re-skinned Fallout 3 (or whichever way you prefer to look at it, I forgot which came first, Oblivion or Fallout 3).

I ended up turning on god mode, turning up my player speed and just flying around and I was still extremely bored. The combat is very generic and seems skilless to the point of just mashing attacks while you run around in circles. Gets old fast. Oblivion was also extremely boring to me though. I figure most the fun in this game comes from making your own fun pretending you're in the world, but I find that hard to do when the world feels so empty. I'll stick with more action orientated RPGs though definitely :/ (i.e. Diablo and Dungeon Siege 1/2 esque). Also, it really just feels like a re-skinned Fallout 3 (or whichever way you prefer to look at it, I forgot which came first, Oblivion or Fallout 3). Do you know that you can fast travel around the world?

You definitely don't know how to enjoy an RPG... you said the combat was generic and boring right after you said you turned on all the cheats?? Challenge is half the game and if you play on adept and complain that the game has no challenge than you are a fool.

It deals 10 fire damage on hit, and when killing an undead has a certain chance to cause it to explode into flames, turning or destroying nearby undead. It owns. And it shines. I also went for the sword route but mace of molag bal makes dawnbreaker looks super weak. 25 damage to both magika and stamina and fill a soul gem if he dies within 3 seconds

Started wondering about this when I saw LeaD getting Temp banned for being dumb on page 315 of a thread that has nothing to do with SC2 or competitive gaming... And this one thread almost has 500000 views... Kinda crazy if its true... go TL ![]() I'm surprised this game is so popular with TL'ers. I would have thought that a game that is really challenging and takes skill to play like Dark Souls would have gotten more attention.

I love how i can kill a whole city pretty much minus the children(can't kill children in this game or even harm them) and then just do some jail time by sleeping and everyone is fine with it.

Elder Scrolls has a pedigree with old-school ass gamers and hardcore gamers, 2 of the major subsets of TL 2. It doesn't suck, so those who were like MAKE IT LIKE MORROWIND actually aren't bitching. 3. It's popular with mainstream people too, so you got that subset going on. 4. TL is the most intelligent gaming community I've found.

I just wanted to help the guy out.

I was descending down a mountain, when suddenly I fell into a gap, pinning myself to the terrain around me. I spent the next 10 minutes trying to struggle my way out of there since it had been forever since I last saved. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the "chop off your own limb" hotkey so I began reflecting on myself and the things that really mattered. Eventually, I managed to free myself by bashing the directional keys and the space bar, escaping with a new outlook on life.
