I don't know if you can join several at the same time but I am in the Thief guild right now and the benefit for me is that I get gear that helps me play like a thief. I get more carry weight, lockpick bonus and pickpocket bonus from the gear they give you, and ofc you get quests that + Show Spoiler + have you going around stealing, planting evidence etc. So I guess you from the other two you mentioned you get similar stuff, like the mages probably helps you with some gear for casting or just helps you out with your spells in general.

I can't find anywhere that lets me buy one (is there like a specific shop or person to speak to for every city?) Amulet of Mara (buy in Riften for 200g) allows you to marry people apparently source-reddit Also, I only just learned how to hotkey things to 1-8 life is so good....

Try to talk to some people, or otherwise you have to go to that cave where you became a warewulf

I know about the amulet, already got it. Apparently with your companion it isn't an "auto-marry" thing. Apparently you have to spend lots and lots of time with her and eventually you'll get a companion specific quest (?) and after you finish that I think you get the option to marry her.

You have to be liked by that character, no companion specific quest. I married when I was level 22 to Aela the Huntress, i was already liked highly by everyone in the Comapions because I completed all their quest, i could have married anyone (even the guys, rofl). Refer here for a list of people you can marry http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Marriage

Now I'm extremely weak in battles that should be relatively easy T_T Hahah I did the same thing, I did the first dragon kill quest, when you first absorb the soul of dragon on lvl 20 ! And I just came to town and finished maybe 1 or 2 quests. Pickpocketing whole town is a XP mine, I had 10+ perks points unspent because all my other skills were somewhere in the 20-30 zone. Only thing that saved me was a little bug/exploit I found. + Show Spoiler + You can pickpocket trainers You pay money to, up to 1500gold, so I've cheated my way to 50ish skill level with bows It's XP machine, you level skill you chose, pickpocketing and your character, all in one spot.
