Guys, I need some tips. Just started out. I'm not too sure where to put my skill points in. I was thinking about making a good melee fighter. I somewhat started the blacksmith skill tree and the enchanter skill tree. Are they even worth following? Should I pour points into Life or Stamina? (So far I got 140 stamina and 110 life). Are 2-h swords good, or 2-h weapons? Because ATM 1-h swords and shield seems like the way to go. I just die too fast without a shield. I'm in Dragonsreach and fighting the dragon at the tower outside the city with the orc lady. I can't do anything to it because it lands only for a splt second. Any tips for a newbie?

You have to download OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) then extract the ExtraVoices.bsa into the data folder in your Skyrim folder.
Or alternatively, you can get the BSAunpacker if you dont have OBMM then do the same.
It should fix the audio issue, and any other bugs that deal with voices and whatever junk.

2Handers are good imo if you step-back then swing, and dodge carefully when you're timing their attacks. 2 powerstrikes and usually they are killed with my 35dmg battleaxe.
Sword+board are always good in any game. However, they tend to take a lot of weight and really slow you down in terms of skills because you need to put points into blocking to make it worthwhile.
Life > Stamina. Why? Life is your lifeline, and stamina can easily be a limiting factor in fights. Although, you just need to know how to use it. Don't spam powerstrikes, and do it when they aren't blocking.
For the dragon fight, I suggest maybe luring it to town guards or peppering it with arrows while its flying.

The only drawback I'm aware of is you don't get the rested bonus to your skill learning once you becvome a werewolf.

well it has drawbacks, random npc's start saying that you smell like a dog and have hair growing out of your ears and stuff, it really hurt my feelings :D
but as with vampirism in oblivion you can get yourself a cure later on if you want to.

<3 The Dark Brotherhood.
+ Show Spoiler +Anyone know what happens when you keep Cicero alive once you relocate to the Dawnstar Sanctuary?

Hey for the companions + Show Spoiler +I just completed the quest where i kill the 5 witches and when i went back, Kodlak is dead. So now Vilkas wants to take the fight to the chief camp but after that he says nothing. No quest was given to me ? Any 1 knows whats going on ?

Im loving this game so ****ing much. Few things to comment on after reading the ~8 pages of posts i missed while asleep :D (i <3 this thread)
1) that guy with the deathdealer look on the horse is epic. 2) Becoming a werewolf "apparently" makes u take more damage from silver. I hope a mod can make this super deadly for immersion. 3)I eagerly await a mod to make dragons / mobs in general fucking harsh. But mainly dragons, they should > everything imo. 4)I just read dungeons respawn with higher difficulty possibly being sent there on the radiant quests. YAAAAAAAAAAA+ Show Spoiler +AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
So im playing my beefy dual wielding nord and its great fun nothings "too" easy but i still feel i need a bigger challenge, im going to turn up from expert to masters once i start today (directly after this post. ) to get a feel for it. Im level 19 and i dunno how far in (how do i see how long ive played?? ) but ive barely done 1/4 of the world (by pure looks) and just visited greybeards. Fuck those 7000 steps, got owned by a bear, an ice wraith and i just ran like FUCK from the frost troll.
My character is going to only do the companions / bard college (and any others i dont know about?) and i will leave the main portions of thieves / dark bhood / mages guild for my next runthrough. who will be the sneaky / mage type. Although ive joined the thieves guild i will just leave it i think. Heres a cute story involving the 1st thieves guild quest + Show Spoiler +So im a heavy armor wearing, dual wielding nord with no sneak skills whatsoever, so i charge in all dumbass like at the 10+ mercs outside the place. After i clear out a few of them, its me, lydia and 5 of them in the field where the beehives were, just as i make my move on them i hear a huge roar and turn round to see this dragon swoop over my head, land and proceed to roast their asses, hardcore 3 way fight then happened. Jizzfest of my life.
Cant believe the depth to this game lol, amazing.

Just a hint: if you don't want to wake up on the other side of the continent, don't partake in any drinking competitions. Alcohol is a gateway drug, now I'm already in taste of human flesh.
e. I was mindblown by the prison mini game.

Makes me wonder how to beat some of these creatures if you are going melee only (like without a fire weapon, you can't kill a ice troll very efficiently at all)

In the taking care of business quest, Brynjolf doesn't come to the ragged flagon although the journal says he should be. He stays on the market. Any suggestions?

I cleared out a fort of some bandits.
Little while later it's swarming with legionaires who have converted it into a base complete with stables and whatnot.

Werewolf form isn't that good. You run INSANELY fast and you have pretty much unlimited stamina in the form as It regens so fast, but you take so much damage and the damage output isn't very good either. Also, because you can't control when you want to exit out of it, you'll be stuck alot where you want to leave but you just have to wait a very long time. You can't open any menus either, and you come back naked. I'm level 33 and I've only used it 10 times, only while traveling.
