I'm getting so many valuable items I can't sell them all at merchants - everyone I've sold stuff to has run out of gold. Do the merchants replenish their gold supplies or will I have cornered every piece of coin in Skyrim? They regain gold, I don't know the rates though, you can also invest in shops if you take Speech perks, which gives the traders you invest in more gold to buy for.

Just figured something out, might help some people who's game is crashing. If you play on PC and you boot from steam, right when you get to the menu the game maybe crashing for some of you. If this is happening go to control panel, sound, and right click the device with the green mark next to it. Then click on properties and then advanced. Set the default format to 24 bit, 44100 Hz. This will stop your game from crashing, worked for me!

I cannot fathom how anyone complains about the graphics in this game. This isn't a tech demo, it's a world. No one sane should care about the occasional less-than-amazing texture when the sum of those textures looks absolutely beautiful.
As to glitches, I haven't run into a single bug in ~15 levels.

How do you get a doggie? I want a doggie.

Skyrim is blowing my mind, what an amazing game man
I finished Oblivion and loved it, but Skyrim is like 10 times better

I either have that Dark Elf priest from Dawn Star or some sellsword from Markath follow me because she had such a negative attitude and never intrigued me with interesting banter.
I don't care who my companions are as long as they carry my crap and can be Fus Ro Da'd out of the doorways they're blocking.

By the way, i do HOPE all the people complaining about graphics are playing on max (ultra high) and probably with the .ini mods, only then will your opinion matter in the slightest. If you are coming from 360 or ps3, dont bother. If you had to set it to low. Dont bother.
The graphics look great on 360/ps3/low anyway but only THEN can i see the issues some people say, i got no problems from where im sitting.

i find the graphics to be good looking and ideal for the job. They look poor only from very close. I rather have 500m more viewdistance than haveing everything look realistic from 30cm viewdistance.
I have to say i like the handcrafted dungeons with their little stories very much.i havent even left the area around the first town and have played for over 20 hours.

'The Forsworn Conspiracy' quest is bugged and can't be completed, some guy I'm supposed to talk to is dead for no reason (google shows other people having this problem), and the resurrect console command won't work on him :|
|
So, I made me a new character and when I got to Whiterun I got caught stealing and I went to jail. I escaped from my cell and after that all the guards are saying "Wait... I know you" when I try to talk with them. I need to be able to talk to the guards for a quest I'm doing now. Anyone knows how or if I can change this? I have done the main quest for the jarl and killed the first dragon but nothing changed with the guards after my reward from the jarl. :/

Can anyone tell me if this is normal/has happened to them or if I bugged it somehow? + Show Spoiler +Went up the 7000 steps to High Hogarth (spelling?). Did all the training up there and on the way back down a dragon comes swooping in from above, circling in the air around me, but doesn't land and then just divebombs out of view and I never see it again? I get back to the bottom of the steps and into the town, expecting an imminent attack now that i'm on a solid plane of ground (I thought it may of not landed because it couldn't due to me being on a shallow ledge/cliff), but...nothing.
So my question, does this happen frequently and is it just a kind of "warning" to keep you on your guard when playing? If not, wtf happened lol!? Thanks!
Yes. This does happen sometimes. I believe its because the Dragon simply just have not spotted you. At one point in the game, a dragon came down on a bandit camp right next to me, fried everyone inside, found himself a mammoth, fried that as well, and flew off. I'm sure it knew I was there, considering I was chasing/attacking it the whole time. But I did minimal damage since it kept flying around so much. I think I followed it for around 5-10 minutes before it finally disappeared behind a mountain.

This allows you to transmute iron ore into silver or gold ore. Make tons or gold ore, smelt into gold ingots and craft some golden jewelry with the gems you already found some some cash and skill points.
i think that tome broke my character. i picked up and thought it would be useful next time i'm crafting. later on i read it to save on space and ever since i read it i cannot go into my magic menu. if i try it freezes my xbox and i have to reset it using the power button.
I had to load a save from like 2 hours back

anyone know how to finish the golden claw quest? I got the quest at the same time I got the dragons tablet or whatever that was (the quest from that mage in whiterun), I fought bandits, skeletons and shit and then I fought the skeleton boss and the quest is at "find the owner of the claw" but there is no way point on the map. Any ideas?
btw, do merchants ever get money as the days past? I end up selling hella shit (I just take EVERYTHING when I'm on a mission) and the merchs end up getting broke. Just wondering if they ever get more money or do I have to buy something of theirs to be able to sell again?

Probably diseased by a vampire. Go to the temple to cure it. i never even got close to a vampire, but i'll try a shrine and see if it changes anything. wouldnt want bretony spears to die
I've had this exact same thing. Haven't run into any vampires (that I know of) or anything that might have poisoned me. I killed the spiders before they could touch me and the rats didn't get close. The only other thing I can think of is maybe a disease or something from wolves? If that's possible?

Nobody really answered earlier, but I was wondering if I can just put skill points into whatever I want with a kind of idea of what im enjoying the game or should I be worried about how well things do?
Right now I'm loving sneak and archery as a dark elf but destruction fire spells are super fun as well.
I also am enjoying dabbling in alchemy and also one handed melee combat.
So idk how many skill points I can assign in the end for sure and where they should all go but does it really matter where I put them or can I just play and enjoy the game without worrying? Never finished a TES game but I had friends who would worry about long term builds in Morrowind and oblivion :S
Im about level 10 if that means anything and I've been doing mainly side quests though so I have only recently killed my first dragon using two bows one for removing stamina and the other for sapping health (with a poison tip).

ZeromuS, it depends on how far you have advanced in a certain catagory. if you have let say 40 in archery, you would only be able to unlock certain skills. but the thing about oblivion games is that its very versitile, you can basically put your skills into anything. so just practice in the skills you like and level them up.

+ Show Spoiler +Try looking around in Riverwood..
And yes, merchants do get their money back after a while. I do not know the exact amount of time before it refills though.
